You know what? I don't give a **** about the summary, takes way too much time. Vote for me simply because I have the best team. No arguements. JK, but look at the team. Depth everywhere, and a good mix of vets and younger players. Very solid team, and best team in NFC South now.

The main focus i had with the rams is to get rid of some Veteren Players and start the rebuilding process for another run. First was to make the defensive line younger. James hall and Leonard little are over 30. I signed Travis Laboy, a solid de to take over halls position. And even though i wanted the deadly pass rush of vernon gholston, i had to settle for chris long, and if you have to SETTLE for chris long, you know your not really settling. Chris long brings a hard working team player that is a strong DE with a blend of pass rush and run stopping. This instanlly makes my dline the youngest in the league
Long-Rookie Clifton Ryan- 2nd year Adam Carriker-2nd year Travis Laboy-27
The secondary was also improved with the acquiring of Dauta Robinson.
The offense had to move forward too. The rams should wait a year to draft a OT high in the draft. Pace can still play 1 maybe 2 more seasons.
Steven Jackson had to go because of his past injury issues and his exspriering contract. I replaced him with Julius Jones. He will pair up with Leonard and Pittman to form a solid RB core. The wide recieving core got a boost with the departure of aging Isaac Bruce and the addition of Joe horn, Desaun jackson and Donnie Avery.
I think i should win this IMD because i made smart trades to get more picks and get younger players to fill needs, i did not make trades just to make trades. I was hear for the whole draft and checked the site every day several times to check up on trade blocks and such.

Free Agents:
1. Corey Williams= Had a great season for the Packers last year and will start at the UT position.
2. Bryant Johnson= Will be given the chance to compete for the number 2 spot next to Marshall
3. John Carney= Elam left so Carney will be his replacement
4. Keary Colbert= Colbert will battle for the number 2 spot with Johnson but will likely be the 4th receiver
5. Niko Koutouvides= A special Teams Ace who will compete with Rookie Tavares Gooden for the starting MLB job.
6. Chauncey Davis= Key Reserve at DE last year for the Falcons, Had 2.5 Sacks in rotational duties while starting DE Jamaal Anderson had 0, and he started all 16 games. Will be the back up to Tim Crowder at LE
Draft Picks=
#13 Chris Williams OT Vandy= Perfect fit for the zone blocking scheme, Will protect former college teammate Jay Cutler for years.
#21 Keith Rivers OLB USC= This was an easy choice with Rivers still on the board at 21. He will play the LOLB position and shut down TE's. Athletic, and instinctive, he adds even more speed to a Denver LB corps.
#42 Dre Moore DT Maryland= This guy is Big strong and very athletic. He ran a 4.88 at the combine which is terrific for a man his size. He had a great senior year and has a lot of upside. Will compete with Marcus Thomas for the STarting NT job.
#78 Kevin Smith RB UCF= PRODUCTION! Need I say more? Ran solid times at the combine, fits the scheme perfectly and he has flat out stated his desire to play for Denver. With a better line and better weapons in the NFL, he could really become something special.
#83 Trevor Laws DT Notre Dame= This guy has a great motor, and is just disruptive, a perfect rotational guy to play UT behind Corey Williams. He loves the game of football, and is always around the ball.
#100 Tavares Gooden LB Miami= He is fast and is a perfect Denver type LB to play the MLB position. He comes hard down hill and has tremendous range. He needs to make more plays, and hopefully with the new and improved D-line in front of him and Keith Rivers and DJ Williams on the outside of him he will be able to make a huge impact.
#104 Jeremy Zuttah OG Rutgers= Perfect size and athleticism for a Denver Guard, he has the versatility to play either G spot, and possibly RT, will sit and learn the system to become a force in future years.
#110 Peyton Hillis FB Arkansas= Denver always uses Big RB's and turns them into FB's, well Hillis is that exact type of player. After losing starting FB Cecil Sapp to Free Agency I felt that Hillis fits exactly what our team wanted in a FB. He can even step in and play RB at times, he has great hands and is more explosive then given credit for the perfect ZBS FB.
#115 Tyrell Johnson S Arkansas St.= I was suprsied Johnson was still on the board. A in the box type safety with the speed to cover the deep half and the ball skills to match. He is a sound tackler and a big hitter, He will add excellent depth behind Roman harper and Hamza Abdullah, and be a great special teamer from day 1.
#130 Cliff Avril DE Purdue= I expected Avril to go in round 2. I traded away Elvis Dumervil, and Avril will take his spot and have a Big Impact as a speed rusher, and has the versatility to play LB. Ran a solid time at the Combine and really looked fluid in LB drills, with great hands. A little taller then Dumervil but about the same weight maybe a little lighter, he can add some more pounds and be a force off of the edge.
#138 Jason Jones DE Eastern Michigan= A big body to play the DE spot, he will serve as a good backup, and makes a lot of tackles behind the LOS.
Players Lost from trade and Why.
1. Javon Walker= Simply did not want to play in Denver anymore
2. Travis Henry= Injuries and too much negative media about drugs, which he has dealt with in the past, it was time to move on.
3. Ben Hamilton= Still can get the job done but is getting older, and I wanted to get younger.
4. Elvis Dumervil= Tremenbdous Pass rusher, But Liability in the 4-3 against the run. Would be a tremendous 3-4 OLB and a pass rush specialist, but was a big part of Denver's Run defense woes, whether Denver fans want to admit it or not.
5. Alvin Mckinley= Wanted to get younger, played well at the end of last season, but was in a move up that I dealt him he could be spared.
6. Ian Gold= Denver cut him anyways, so why keep him. DJ moved over to take his Place.
7. Dre Bly= Gambles too Much for a Man to Man CB, and Loses way more then he wins.
8. John Lynch= Wanted to get younger at the S position. This is his last year it looks like anyways, and he has slowed down tremendously.
Players Gained through Trade and Why.
1. Roman Harper= This guy was a stud last year, even when Thomas and Bullocks were getting smoked all season, him and Mckenzie were actually great players in the secondary. A future pro bowler.
2. Paul Oliver= He is physical, man handled Calvin Johnson in college. He has the potential to be a solid starting CB one day, and serves as the dime Cb for now.
3. Robert Thomas= Adds depth at LB
Summary
I mostly traded for Picks because I wanted my team to get younger, I traded away mostly old players, players that were locker room poison, or players that were actually hurting the team as starters, and I could get more for them then they were worth to my team. I wanted to get younger and Improve my Defense. I did both of these, I added some needed playmakers tyo the passing game, and added some help on the o-line. I did what I felt was best for this team. I believe this team would be a contender. And will be for a long time because of the youth on it. Thanks for reading!

Chicago Bears IMD summary
Cuts OT Fred Miller: Fred was cut due to his large contract hit ($4.0M) and his declining play. DL Israel Idonije: The sole reason Israel was cut was because of his contract. His contract held over $1.5M against the cap. That's way to much to pay a role-player who's most important job is on special teams. QB Brian Griese: Griese was cut because of his play in 2007 and in small part, his age. I also needed to open up a roster spot at QB after resigning Rex Grossman. WR Muhsin Muhammed: Moose has been one of our most consistent players over the years, but his play has declined in recent years. He had begun to become a problem in the locker room as well, criticizing the coaching staff on several occasions. SS Adam Archuleta: Adam was released because of his poor play in '07 and injuries. FS Mike Brown: Mike was cut due to his inability to stay healthy the past few years. I would've liked to have resigned him in free agency, but that didn't happen. Of all the players cut, Brown is the one I really did not want to lose.
Free agent signings QB Rex Grossman: Rex was brought back to Chicago, but at a lower price and with an incentive-laden contract. He'll have to earn his starting job back in the offseason with Kyle Orton returning and rookie QB Brian Brohm in the mix. He was signed to a 2 year, $5.0M contract WR Drew Carter: Carter is a young guy that will be given the chance to shine in Chicago as a #2 receiver with the possibility of being a #1 in a few years. Carter has good size at 6'3, 200# and will step into the role left by Moose. He was signed to a 4 year, $11.5M contract. WR Rashied Davis(RFA): Rashied was a solid slot receiver for us the past two years. He was tendered to a $1.0M contract. OG Justin Smiley: With the loss of Ruben Brown, signing a solid LG was a high priority. Smiley is a powerful run blocker that has the quickness for trap and pull blocks. We hope that he will anchor our line for years to come. Justin was signed to a 4 year, $21.0M contract. OG Jason Brown: At only 24 years old, I was very surprised to see Brown on the UFA list. He has the versatility to play center or guard (he started at LG in Baltimore for the past two seasons), but will compete with Roberto Garza for the starting RG position. He was signed to a 5 year, $14.0M deal. DT Colin Cole(RFA): Cole is a young player who's a load in the middle. At 326#, he will battle Dusty Dvoracek for the starting NT spot alongside Tommie Harris in '08. He was signed to a 4 year, $17.6M contract that is similar to the one signed by Maake' Kemoeatu a couple years ago. FS Madieu Williams: Williams has had an injury history, but when he's healthy, he's one of the best FS in the league. We're hoping that his injury problems are behind him and he'll be a huge contributor for us. Madieu was signed to a 6 year, $38.75M contract. FS Lance Schulters: The veteran Schulters was brought in to bring a veteran presence to our safety corps that was lost with the departure of Mike Brown. Lance was signed late in the FA period to a 2 year, $2.5M contract. SS Brandon McGowen(RFA): Brandon is a young player who got invaluable starting experience last season. He will battle Kevin Payne for the starting job in 2008. McGowen was signed to a 2nd round tender of $1.50M.
Trades CB Ricky Manning to San Diego for OT Shane Olivea: With the emergence of Trumaine McBride last season, Manning's job as the Bears' nickelback was in serious jeopardy. That and his nearly $2.0M contract made him very expendable. In return, Chicago gets a veteran tackle that will compete for the starting RT job vacated by Fred Miller. RB Garrett Wolfe & R3P76 to Kansas City for R3P66 & R6: The basis behind moving the diminutive Wolfe was to make room for Justin Fargas (who signed elsewhere) or a rookie RB. I moved up ten spots in the third and eventually, would draft the guy who replaces him (Matt Forte). FS Danieal Manning to New England for R3P94: Manning was Chicago's 2nd rounder in 2005, but has not made a very big impact. He's been a liability in coverage and an average tackler at best. To get a late 3rd for him, was more than I expected. TE Desmond Clark to Seattle for R4P117: With last year's 1st round pick Greg Olsen in the fold, Clark became somewhat expendable. Ironically, Clark's successor was taken with the pick from Seattle (Brad Cottam). R1P14 and R4P107 to San Francisco for R1P12: This deal was originally to move up and draft Rashard Mendenhall. When San Diego spoiled those plans, I was fortunate to have a future starting OT in Ryan Clady fall to me. R2P44 and R3P90 to NY Giants for R1P31: This deal was hastily thrown together for the sole reason of getting Brian Brohm. With Miami, Jacksonville and Tampa all coming up in the first 6 picks of the 2nd round, I felt I needed to make the deal to have a chance at the guy I consider, the best and most NFL-ready QB in the draft. R3P66, R3P95 and 2009 5th rounder for OLB Quincy Black, R3P77 and R5P156: I had long coveted Quincy Black, dating back to before the '07 draft. With the loss of Lance Briggs, Black would have a chance to be a starter immediately. I was able to acquire him, as well as draft the player I was targeting at 66, Matt Forte.
Draft picks OT Ryan Clady-Boise State (pick #12): This pick came down to Clady or Vanderbilt's Chris Williams. Both could end up being very good LTs, but I like Clady over Williams because he could add 20# to his frame and play either left or right side. QB Brian Brohm-Louisvillle (pick #31): Getting Brohm at the end of the 1st was a real surprise to me. He was my #1 rated QB and a guy I figured I'd have to draft at 14 to have a shot at. RB Matt Forte-Tulane (pick #77): I was contemplating drafting Forte at 66, but when I realized I could probably get him in the mid 3rd, I made the deal with Tampa. Forte is a powerful runner with good speed. He has good hands and could take Adrian Peterson's job as 3rd down back...if he doesn't take the injured Cedric Benson's starting gig. TE Brad Cottam-Tennessee (pick #117): The enormous Cottam was underused at Tennessee, but really shined on the postseason all-star game circuits and at the combine. He has the build of an offensive tackle and obviously is a pretty good blocker. His blocking skills are the main reason behind drafting him, as Desmond Clark was clearly the better blocker between him and Greg Olsen. Cottam will now be the guy brought in on goal line and short yardage situations. WR Lavelle Hawkins-California (pick #134): I had Hawkins rated as a mid 2nd rounder, so to find him still available in the 5th was a shock. He was a BPA pick for me, but will also compete for the slot receiver role with Devin Hester and Mark Bradley. OLB/SS Wesley Woodyard-Kentucky (pick #156): Woodyard is a project. He's a bit undersized to play LB, but not quick enough to play safety. He'll be tried out as a weakside LB, but his biggest role in '08 will be on special teams. If Woodyard can put some weight on, he could excel in our Cover 2 scheme and be another mid-draft diamond in the rough for Chicago.
Final depth chart QB: Rex Grossman, Brian Brohm, Kyle Orton RB: Cedric Benson, Matt Forte, Adrian Peterson FB: Jason McKie, Matt Forte, Lousaka Polite WR1: Bernard Berrian, Mark Bradley, Rashied Davis WR2: Drew Carter, Lavelle Hawkins, Devin Hester, Mike Haas TE: Greg Olsen, Brad Cottam LT: John Tait, Ryan Clady LG: Justin Smiley, Terrance Metcalf C: Olin Kruetz, Patrick Mannelly RG: Roberto Garza, Jason Brown, Josh Beekman RT: Shane Olivea, Ryan Clady, John St. Clair
LDE: Alex Brown, Mark Anderson RDE: Adewale Ogunleye, Dan Bazuin DT: Tommie Harris, Darwin Walker, Anthony Adams NT: Colin Cole, Dusty Dvoracek, Matt Toeaina SLB: Hunter Hillenmeyer, Michael Okwo, Darrell McClover MLB: Brian Urlacher, Rod Wilson WLB: Quincy Black, Jamar Williams, Wesley Woodyard CB: Charles Tillman, Trumaine McBride CB: Nathan Vasher, Corey Graham FS: Madieu Williams, Lance Schulters SS: Brandon McGowen, Kevin Payne, Wesley Woodyard
PK: Robbie Gould P: Brad Maynard
Overall, I feel as though I improved on Chicago's weakest points. I replaced an aging Muhsin Muhammed with a younger version in Drew Carter. A terrible and agin offensive line has been rejuvenated with the signings of Justin Smiley and Jason Brown and the drafting of Ryan Clady in the 1st round. A safety corps that has been riddled by injury and was a liability in coverage has been revamped with the veteran Lance Schulters and young star, Madieu Williams. We will still have question marks at QB, but with an improved line and receiving corps, whomever wins the starting job will have a better shot at success than in 2007. My only regret is that these moves were all done in IMD, not real life.

Brief Thoughts: After starting with a negative amount of money the Redskins cut several overpaid, underworked players and used free agency to acquire solid depth at several positions. Trading for Ocho Cinco will also provide young QB Jason Campbell with a true #1 target and should hopefully help the Redskins go that little further in the playoffs in 2008.

Brief Thoughts: The loss of Larry Fitzgerald will of course hurt, but his huge contract was taking up way too much cap room. Between them Justin Gage, Antonio Chatman and Jordy Nelson should be able to make up for Fitz. Acquiring a new 1-2 punch in free agency should bring a more effective running game, while Chris Clemons and eventually Quentin Groves will provide a better pass rush. Ali Highsmith will provide excellent depth at OLB and will be able to take over if Dansby does not sign a new contract and leaves in 2009.

Brief Thoughts: The way the draft went absolutely killed the Panthers. Yes, getting Glenn Dorsey improved the interior of the defensive line but there was never any value at the DE position until the 4th round. With holes to fill, trading up was not really an option, and so the pass rush is a little worrying. The problem at backup QB is no longer as Chris Simms has proven he is a viable starter. Steve Smith finally has a solid receiver opposite him and LaBrandon Toefield will join DeAngelo Williams in the backfield to provide a good 1-2 punch.

Acquired a new backup QB in Joey Harrington through FA and picked up new CBs through FA and the draft. Completely restructured the defensive line and added depth to the rotation. Chris Johnson and Jamal Lewis will be an exciting 1-2 punch.

Derrick Harvey was drafted to provide an improved pass rush while Erik Coleman and Samari Rolle were acquired in FA to improve the secondary. Depth was also added on the offensive line and at linebacker.

Brief Thoughts: With the offensive line having struggled a little in 2007 and Alan Faneca gone, we brought in Sims, Scott and Collins to starting roles, all of whom are solid players and should help the line immensely in 2008. Warrick Dunn was brought in to backup Willie Parker and provide him with a bit of rest time when he needs it. Phillip Merling will prove to be one of the top 34 DEs in a few years time and allowing him to learn for a year or two will be beneficial. We also brought in the top long snapper available in free agency, which will help in shotgun formations and also on special teams.

Brief Thoughts: After an awful 2007, the 49ers should be on the up in 2008. Chris Redman is a proven backup at QB should Alex Smith fail again. However, with Andre Davis, Mushin Muhammed and Limas Sweed all added at WR he will have a much better chance of succeeding with Mike Martz as the O-coordinator. However, with Frank Gore and Rudi Johnson in the backfield mix, you can be sure the running game will not be forgotten. Quality and depth were also added to the offensive line to ensure Smith is well protected. On defense, Randy Starks and Booger McFarland should both turn out to be nice 34 DEs, while Roye will provide good rotation at NT. 2 solid pass rushers were added to the OLB position, while adding the best corner in the draft will immediately improve this secondary. Depth in the form of former starter Lewis Sanders, David Irons and Quintin Demps (who will also return kicks) will also help.

Players Traded: Robert Mathis, Charlie Johnson Players Traded For: Marcus Tubbs
Players Cut: Jeff Saturday-With his age continuing to climb and his cost being so high i found it necessary to let him go. Bogger Mcfarland-He is coming off a big injury and he is not that young either. He was very expensive and expendible with the emergence of Ed Johnson.
Players Signed In FA: Bobby McCray-Robert Mathis was too small and was too reliant on Dwight Freeney. McCray brings size and is still able to put pressure on the qb. Jeremy Newberry-He brings experince and depth to an already solid line. should step in and take over for Saturday, if he fails I have Dylan Gandy to play. Darryl Blackstock-Was a very cheap aqusition. I felt that it would be better to have him and Rob Morris play slb rather than drafting someone.
Picks: 24-Brendan Albert-Best guard in the draft. Will be better than Jake Scott who he replaces. 93-Dustin Keller-Fast strong physical te who will bring a lot to this offense once he learns the scheme. Should be better than Clark at his prime. 123-Tommy Blake-De depth was a thorn in the side last year so a de is necessary. Blake, previously predicted to go round 2, has brought his stock up imo. He has harnessed his problems and now is getting back into shape. He will be excellent to spell freeny or mathis. Will also be great on special teams. 153-Marcus Griffin-Needed saftey depth and he was the best avaiable. Should help on special teams. Round 6
I didn't want to do to much with a team that was great already. But, I am very excited with how things turned out. I solidifyed the line with the presence of Mccray and Tubbs. I brought in albert to replace scott. Less is more in this occasion. One of my better jobs I must say.

FA: I was able to free up cap room by cutting expensive bench warmers. With the money I was able to bring in the best cb, asante samuel, and the 2 best wr, donte stallworth. I also brought in cb depth up the wazzo with terry cousin and jacques reeves. Now i have 4 starting material cbs in samuel phillip buchanon reeves, and cousin. Dontarious Thomas was brought in to provide depth at lb behind derrick johnson and cato june. Brian young and ellis wyms were brought in to play the ut position. Young is a great pass rusher at dt and is perfect for the scheme. Tom ashworth, rex hadnot, evan mathis, and seteve mckinney were brought in to provide depth to a young line. They will all comepete for the staring c and lg jobs. ben troupe was brought in as the best pas catching te in fa he helps spread the offense. Ron Dayne is a chep change of pace for grahm and mcfadden.
Overall I took a o and made it very explosive. Loook at the skilled positions, they rival the colts and patriots rb McFadden..........Maroney..............Addai wr a. Johnson........Moss....................Harrision wr stallworth..........welker..................wayne te troupe...............watson.................clark te smith.................johnson................keller qb garcia................brady...................manning i am close if not better in everything except qb. I also have a great young line too. The d is very different but better, imo.
I upgraded in de with juilus peppers, that is a huge acquistion. Depth with darrion scott. I stayed the same at dt with the losses of hovan and haye by bringing in simms, young, and wyms. at olb I got younger and stayed the same but increased depth derrick brooks was great but he is old i brought in derick johnson....i have depth in dontarious thomas. at mlb i have the best young 4-3 mlb in the game in mayo. He is perfect and is an upgrade over ruud. at cb i improved and brought in depth. i lost barber and kelly but brought in samuel, cousin, and reeves. at s i stayed the same but brought in decoud to learn and grow.
overall i made the team better in almost every facet except oline...which we arent that worse.
Here in the Cin City we have no Super Bowl ring, no 4-3 defense (now), no good looking cheerleaders, and most importantly we have no more 'center of attention seeking' Chad Johnson. He wanted out of the Cin City, so I sent him out,...out of the Cin City, and out of the AFC. I would've sent him to NFL Europe, if I could've...lol. But anyways, here's just a brief explanation of what I did. Since I was learning how the Free Agency worked, as well as learning what its like to have a second team, then I wanted to do something new. Therefore, I switched Cincinnati's defense from the 4-3 scheme to the 3-4 scheme. I wanted to try this because this is the direction for which the 'real' Bengals are heading in the NFL. I just hope y'all like the new look defense as much as I do. See? I told you this would be brief...lol. Besides, I figure a truly knowledgable football fan can figure things out for themselves, without an essay, or sales pitch. Enjoy, and good luck to everyone. _____________________________________________________________

*-Justin Smith is in on the 1st 2 downs and Leonard Little comes in as the 3rd down pass rusher because Justin is a run anchor and Leonard is a great pass rusher, this should also keep Leonard more fresh helping his speed off the edge and keep him from being injured.
Cap Room: $21 Million
RFAs: Anthony Maddox-None C.C. Brown-High Jerome Mathis-Low
Cuts: Ahman Green, Steve McKinney, Shawn Barber, Chester Pitts, and Tony Weaver.
Signings: WR Larry Fitzgerald DE Justin Smith OG Jacob Bell LT Flozell Adams OLB/ILB Odell Thurman
Trades: 1. 5th round pick #4 and Rashad Barksdale for Ephiram Salaam 2. #33, #65, Isaac Bruce and Leonard Little for #18 and Jamar Fletcher 3. Steven Jackson for #79, #114 and Dunta Robinson 4. Roy Williams for pick #33 and pick #143 5. Andre Johnson and 09 3rd for Barrett Ruud, Ronde Barber and pick #52 6. Leigh Bodden for pick #65 7. Clinton Hart for #52
Pick #131: Oniel Cousins- Oniel is a very athletic Guard/Tackle who gives great versatility because he can play both positions, he will fight Charles Spencer for the RG job, Spencer was supposed to be the Texans LT of the future before breaking his leg but I think at 6-5 350 he could be an excellent OG, if Spencer is not ready to come back Cousins will start right away.
QB: No changes made
RB:HUGE Upgrade: Steven Jackson is a 24 year old RB who is not even in his prime yet, he is a GREAT all around RB who can block, catch and run, Jackson has 3 1000+ yard seasons at only 24 years old and led the NFL in All Purpose yards in 2006. I have plenty of money left over to resign Jackson and I will try to work out as LONG of a deal as possible because Steven looks like a future SUPERSTAR.
WR: HUGE Upgrade: Can anyone argue against this being the best WR core in the IMD? If so I would love to hear it, I have to future Superstars in WRs Larry Fitzgerald and Roy Williams, both are young but both have produced and both are Pro Bowlers, they both have great hands and size and run great routes, Matt Schaub should be the happiest guy on this team to have those 2 WRs but he also has Future HOFer Isaac Bruce as the slot guy, Bruce may no longer be a #1 but he should excel in the slot and Schaub has Dallas Clark like TE Owen Daniels who had 60+ catches for over 700 yards last year.
O-line: HUGE Upgrade: The Texans WEAKEST link in the history of their Franchise has been their O-line, well I decided I would fix that, I brought in Pro Bowl LT Flozell Adams to go with young Pro Bowl Caliber RT Eric Winston, I also brought in LG Jacob Bell who has better numbers over the last 2 years then any other OG in Free Agency, in fact only 2-3 other OGs had better numbers then Jacob Bell last year, I also brought in young rookie OG/OT Oniel Cousins to add depth and may be take over for Winston at RT when he moves to LT after Flozell retires. This O-line is deep and VERY good.
DE: Upgrade: My goal on the D-line was to get a great DE across from Mario Williams to take some blockers away from him and Amobi Okoye, well I succeeded, I got 2, I have Leonard Little who is a great pass rusher who will play on passing downs and Justin Smith who is a great run anchor who will play on running downs, these 2 should keep Mario Williams from being double teamed.
LB: HUGE upgrade: I wanted to really improve the Texans LBs and add some youth next to Demeco Ryans, well I succeeded. I added 2 young studs in Barrett Ruud and Odell Thurman, Barrett broke out last year and had 114 tackles, 3 FFs, and 2 INTs, while Odell has sat out the last 2 seasons because of a suspension I think he can regain his rookie form of 105 tackles and 5 ints, I don't have any other trouble makers on this team so I thought Odell was a good risk if he does not pan out I have Morlon Greenwood who has 4 straight seasons of 108+ tackles.
Secondary: HUGE Upgrade: I really improved my secondary, I decided we would go to more of a BUMP AND RUN cover scheme because of my great D-line. I added Ronde Barber who is a great CB still and might be in the HOF when he retires as the #1 CB, Barber EXCELS in the Bump and Run, I also added Leigh Bodden who is another tall physical CB who had 88 tackles and 6 ints with the Browns last year. I kept Fred Bennett who was a rookie last year but is another tall physical CB who had 63 tackles and 3 ints as a rookie. I added SS Clinton Hart to give my team a physical playmaker, Hart had 85 tackles and 5 ints for the Chargers last year.
Overall: I think I really improved the Texans, I gave Schaub one of if not the best WR core in the league and a great O-line to protect him so he won't be on his butt all day, throw in that he has a great young RB who can catch out of the backfield as well as any other RB in the league so Schaub should be eagerly awaiting the season. On defense I added two excellent DEs next to Mario Williams, 2 Young and very talented LBs and 3 excellent playmakers in the secondary. I THINK THIS TEXANS TEAM COULD MAKE A RUN AT THE SUPER BOWL!!! This is why I think you should vote for me...thank you for reading my summary.

*=That Welker will not stay as just the #1 WR, he will be moved around to utilize his speed and quickness.
New York Jets: $24.1m
UFAs and Cuts(Underlined): Erik Coleman DB Victor Hobson LB Hank Poteat DB Sean Ryan TE Wade Smith C Marques Tuiasosopo QB David Barrett CB
Signings: OG/OT Damian Woody OG Fred Weary WR Ernest Wilford FS Mike Brown CB/FS Von Hutchins
Trades: 1. Pick #10 for Dewayne Robertson, Laverneus Coles, Pick #36 and a 7th 2. Wes Welker and Richard Seymour for Pick #6 3. Mike Goff for Pick #67 and 09 4th 4. Jason Taylor and Ronnie Brown for #10, #98, and Thomas Jones
Pick #132: Harry Douglas WR Lousiville-I traded away Lavernius Coles because he was unhappy with his contract and being on the Jets so Harry Douglas takes his place as a deep threat, Harry will be the #4 WR but will be used much more often because the 3 WRs in front of him are not deep threats, he lets Kellen Clemens show that strong arm off.
Offense: I feel I greatly improved this offense. I started first by getting a great WR in WES WELKER, Welker will be spread all around the field so he can utilize his quickness and route running, I also brought in Ernest Wilford to be a Red Zone Threat and a reliable 3rd Down WR. Harry Douglas was drafted to replace the departed Lavernius Coles as a deep threat. Next I decided that the Jets need a very talented RB to help Clemens and the WR core, so I traded for Ronnie Brown who can do it all, he can run, catch, and block, Ronnie was a top 10 pick and has tremendous upside, he also has Leon Washington to split carries with. My next goal was to put an Offensive Line that could block in front of Ronnie and Kellen, I brought in veteran OG Mike Goff WHO HAS NOT ALLOWED 1 SACK IN THE LAST 48 GAMES AND HE HAS STARTED ALL 48, I also brought in Fred Weary who led all RGs last year in yards lost ratio(gave up the least yards) and was 8th in run blocking, I brought in former Pro Bowl veteran Damian Woody to play RT, Woody can play any O-line position so his versatility is great. I made the Jets Offense explosive and very deep with an excellent Offensive Line.
Defense: My next chore was to shore up a lackluster Jet's defense, my first decision was to convert the Jet's defense back to a 4-3, Jonathan Vilma is a great Pro Bowl ILB in the 4-3. I traded for Future HOFer and still Pro Bowl Caliber pass rusher Jason Taylor to scare opposing QBs, I also traded for former Pro Bowl DT Richard Seymour, he will be a great run anchor and pass rusher at the DT spot. I decided that the Jets LBs were good, Vilma and David Harris should excel in the 4-3. I decided that the Jets needed some depth and a playmaker in their secondary, I got Von Hutchins who is a good FS or a good CB out of Free Agency and Mike Brown who is injury prone but when he plays is as good as they get at the FS spot, if Mike Brown goes down, Von Hutchins is a very good starter at FS(95 tackles and a 1 int last year).
Special Teams: I mostly left them alone but with Justin Miller returning the Jets have one of the most dangerous return games in Football.
Overall: I VASTLY improved the JEts offense and defense, I also made them a VERY deep team, and I think DEPTH is arguably the most important thing for a football team. All in all I think I turned a team who was picking #6 in the draft into a playoff caliber team. Thanks for reading this summary and VOTE FOR THE JETS!!!

Traded Players: Rashad Barksdale CB-Young player that wasnt really the type of corner I wanted. Dealt to the Texans Kendrell Bell OLB-Never really fit in a 4-3. Good player but wrong system. Dealt to the Chargers Tank Tyler DT-Didnt produce during the time he played last year. Strong in the weight room but not on the field. Dealt to the Seahawks Jeff Webb WR-Wasnt as good as my other recievers. Wouldnt have made the final cut. Dealt to the Bengals. Nate Harris MLB-Too many LB's on the roster. He had to go. Dealt to the Bengals. Derrick Johnson OLB- Didnt want to trade him, but playing LT 2 times a year I needed a good DT. Dealt to the Bucs.
Players Signed: Jabar Gaffney WR-Will be my #3 WR. Loads of playoff experience Jake Grove C-Never lived up to expectations in Oakland. Will be a great backup. Kwame Harris OT-Another player who has never lived up to expectations. Will compete for the RT position. Is still better than last years players(Turley and Svitek). Brendon Ayanbedjo OLB-Excellent special teams player. Was a must sign for me. Will start in his second year in KC. Teddy Lehman MLB-Former sooner, could give me a spot start if needed Leon Joe OLB/MLB-Another special teams ace. Will be 3rd string SLB. Travis Fisher CB-Started every game for the Lions. Will be my #4 CB. Will play in mostly dime situations. Chris Carr CB-Another Raider. Can be used as a return guy and gives good depth at CB. James Hall DE-Brought in to push Hali. I really liked this signing.
Players Traded For: Jammal Brown OT-From Saints, premier LT. Will protect Brodie's blind side. Robert Meachem WR- From Saints, picked 4 spots behind Bowe last year. Broken leg ended his season last year. Taylor Jacobs WR-From Broncos. I just like Florida players Alvin McKinley DT- From Broncos. Veteran DT, can be used in rotation. Ian Gold OLB-From Broncos. Will start at WLB. Still got enough left in the tank for 1 year. Ephiraam Salaam OT-From Texans. Will start at RT. A veteran who is better than last years tackles. Dominick Riola C-From Lions. One of the best run blocking centers in the league. Garrett Wolfe RB- From Bears. Was picked ahead of Kolby Smith last year. Super productive in college. Scott Chandler TE-From Chargers. Eventual replacement for Tony G. Is a great blocker and adequate reciever. Mansfield Wrotto OG-From Seahwaks. Big physical player. Will replace Brian Waters in 2 years. Will Herring OLB-From Seahawks. Love his athleticism. Will be superb on special teams. Mike Jenkins WR-From Bills. Another weapon for Brodie. Big guy (6'4). Will be my #2 Fred Jackson RB-From Bills. Capable body at RB Anthony Schlegel MLB-From Bengals. I love Ohio St. LB. Herana Daze-Jones SS-From Bengals. Can play either safety position. Also way younger than Wesley. Jovan Haye DT-From Bucs. Playing LT 2 times a year means you better have a good D-Line. He is a penatrator that can disrupte plays in the backfield. Cadillac Williams RB-From Bucs. Former top 10 pick that has injury concerns. Wont have to take on a lot of carries because of LJ. Every team needs at least 2 good backs and I have mine.
Players Drafted: pick 75: Justin King, CB, Penn St: Physical talent of a first rounder. Started 3 years at Penn State. More of a finesse corner, which is a nice way of saying he cant tackle. Needs some coaching up but playing behind Ty Law and Pat Surtain will really help him. I think he could be a future Pro bowler.
Pick 101: Owen Schmidt, FB, West Virginia:My #1 FB. LJ was at his best with Tony Richardson blocking for him. I think Schmidt is capable of being better than Richardson. Not a great athlete but is the best run blocker of the FB's in the draft and is more than capable of catching the ball out of the backfield. Will start from day 1.
pick 127: Chris Harrington, DE, Texas A&M:Not a need pick, but if we are unable to sign Jared Allen to a long term deal then Harrington becomes the guy. He is a non-stop motor guy that has been very productive in the Big 12. Love his motor and size.
Pick 136: Jonathan Zenon, CB, LSU:Great athlete for a great program. Helped LSU win the National Championship. Is best in a zone scheme, so he might have a hard time making it in the NFL. I really like him because he is a winner. Plays faster than his timed speed.
Pick 140:Marcus Monk, WR, Arkansas:Has been injured alot during his college career. Another big reciever who recently ran in the 4.4's at his pro day. Has first day talent but second day production. Is a little slower than Mike Jenkins but I think he can be as good. Another great target for Brodie.
Pick 145: Jordon Dizon, OLB, Colorado:Non-stop motor but is undersized. He is a tackling machine. He had 160 during his sr. year. A very tough player that will make it on special teams for a very long time. Hard nosed kid that you look to build your organization around.
pick 152:Gary Barnidge, TE, Louisville:I needed a 3rd TE and he was my guy. More of a reciever than blocker. He will compliment Scott Chandler very well for the next 10 years. He is alot like Tony Gonzalez because he is capable of being split out wide in a slot. I really like this kid.
Summary: The Chiefs needed depth. Period. They had to play Jackie Battle as their RB during the final 2 games of the year. I added plenty of depth with a good mix of young and old players. Another problem was the offense. The entire offense was a problem. Brodie is my guy but last year he had no protection and no weapons. I assembled him one of the top 10 WR cores in the NFL. I also re-tooled the o-line. I added 3 new starters and 2 backups. He has an all-pro protecting his backside now. LJ will also benefit from my moves by having quality blockers and a quality backup. The defense ranked 5th against the pass last year so CB was as big of need as everyone thought, even though I brought in 4 new CB's. (they needed depth not stars). The run defense on the other hand was terrible. So i shifted Turk McBride to DT and traded for 2 veterans in McKinley and Haye. This team is so much more talented than the team they had last year. It is like night and day. IMO this team would win 9 or 10 games. The offense would rank in the top 10 and the defense would be equally as impressive. Thank you for reading

Summary
Didn't do that much in the trade area simply because Dallas has a Super Bowl Caliber Team that only needed minor improvments that i think i took car of in the draft. they were thin at WR which was shown after the injury to terry glen and with both terry glenn and TO turning 30 i felt it was time to go young. the main strengths of the team being Tony Romo's arm so i added Devin Thomas , Dexter Jackson and Davone Bess. Thomas may be the best all around WR in the draft while Bess and Jackson spread the field. Marion Barber was offered a VERY generous offer by the Cardinals but coming off his first Pro Bowl i felt the safe bet would be to re sign him rather than take a chance on a all rookie back field. Aqib Talib will start ahead of anthony henry who had a decent season but has been injury plaqued his whole career. Red Bryant is a nice anchor to add to the line for depth and longevity

Training Camp Battles: RG: Charles Spencer vs. Oniel Cousins WLB: Odell Thurman vs. Morlon Greenwood
DE: Upgrade: My goal on the D-line was to get a great DE across from Mario Williams to take some blockers away from him and Amobi Okoye, well I succeeded, I got 2, I have Leonard Little who is a great pass rusher who will play on passing downs and Justin Smith who is a great run anchor who will play on passing downs, these 2 should keep Mario Williams from being double teamed.
On defense I added to excellent DEs next to Mario Williams, 2 Young and very talented LBs and 3 excellent playmakers in the secondary. I THINK THIS TEXANS TEAM COULD MAKE A RUN AT THE SUPER BOWL!!! This is why I think you should vote for me...thank you for reading my summary.

MIAMI DOLPHINS DEPTH CHART
How does one improve unquestionably the worst team in the NFL...by building a better foundation!
And that's exactly what I tried to do with the Fins. I would have loved to traded out of the Top Pick but there were no takers...even for a 1st and 2nd Round selection. So, the undaunting task of trying to improve a team on both sides of the ball began, especially with Miami changing from a 4-3 Defense to a 3-4.
I'll break this down in three parts...Free Agency, Trades and the Draft.
To begin, I wanted to sign a veteran signal caller in case Beck can't handle the job. I also wanted to improve the secondary while concentrating on the offensive line and defensive line in the draft, which are without a doubt have the most depth thru the first 5 rounds.
Free Agent Signings: Kurt Warner, QB/Arizona: Warner gives me two seasons to find a franchise QB for this team.
Trades: Essentially I traded several aging players that don't fit the 3-4 scheme and an injured running back due to depth.
Traded FS Jason Allen & Pick 96 to Atl for Pick 47. Traded ILB Channing Crowder to Atl for Pick 40 Traded DE Jason Taylor & RB Ronnie Brown to the Jets for Picks 10, 98 & RB Thomas Jones Traded LB Zach Thomas & Pick 189 to Tennessee for Pick 59
Draft: All I can say is Where's the Beef? My O-Line is huge and there is no longer a concern whether our QB can stay upright. Furthermore, Carey can now slide to the right side where he's much better suited. My D-Line is now filled w/ hosses, which will allow my backers to roam and make plays either inside or off the edge. My D-Line across the board is:
LE - Langford (6'5" 283) NT - Holliday (6'5" 296) RE - Campbell (6'7" 290)
Pick 1: Selected DE/OLB Vernon Gholston/Ohio State Pick 10: Traded w/ Pick 98 and a 2009 3rd Rounder to San Diego for Pick 9 (OT Jake Long/Michigan) Pick 32: OT/OG Carl Nicks/Nebraska Pick 40: DE Calais Campbell/Miami Pick 48: ILB Jonathan Goff/Vanderbilt Pick 57: CB Charles Godfrey/Iowa Pick 59: DE Kendall Langford/Hampton Pick 64: OG Roy Schuening/Oregon State Pick 108: CB Dwight Lowery/Fresno State

Well thats your choice but I don't think Williams over Harrison is slim, Harrison looked horrible during the playoffs after his injury and only has 1 year left most likely while Williams is just about to hit his prime...so I'd say it is about a tie but I give the edge to my guys because to stud WRs are in their mid 20's and about to hit their primes while 1 of yours is done with his prime and retiring in a year or 2 and Wayne is near the end of his prime(close to 30 years old). RR here are my top 4 statistics: Fitz: 100 rec 1409 yards 10 TDs Roy Williams: 64 rec 838 yards 5 TDs in 12 games Bruce and Walter combined: 120 rec 1533 yards 9 TDs TE: Owen Daniels: 63 rec 768 yards 3 TDs

This team started with the 27th and 152nd picks. I was able to seal up the right side of the OLine with the additions of Ben Hamilton and drafting Gosder. There's no immediate pressure for Cherilus to be a stud right out of the gates being that Todd Weiner was brought in for his veteran presence. The two big differences from last year are the transformation of the D to a 4-3 and the loss of LT. Between the two I was able to secure many draft picks by dishing Big Jamal, Shaun Phillips and Luis Castillo... In the LT trade I was able to make that trade really benefit the Chargers down the road. LT's going into his 8th year and has been a workhorse his entire career. Getting the 4th pick and future picks wasn't the end of that trade. I rolled down to the 9th and got more value, picked up Jake Long who slipped drastically this draft at 9, traded down a spot and got more compensation... and still ended up with the guy I wanted to replace LT. The transformation of the D was highlighted by the signing of Lance Briggs. He'll be the staple at the WLB. Other acquisitions such as Ko, Michael Boulware, Rucker, Kendrell and Dan Morgan allow for my defense to not miss much of a beat... other than the fact new players always need a bit of time to gel.
