Mr. Bigtime Potential blew it and got dismissed from the LSU football team by HC Les Miles. Miles said that Perrilloux failed to "fulfill his obligation as an LSU student-athlete." There were no other details, although Perrilloux has been suspended multiple times already during his tenure at LSU. It will be interesting to see where Perrilloux ends up. I'm sure he'll have a whole host of lower-tier schools lining up to grab him.

He should transfer to Auburn... That would be great!

I'd take him at MSU in a second, but he would have to sit out for a year...

Maybe he'll just submit his name for the Supplemental Draft this summer. I'm sure a team like the Bengals or Vikings would be interested, especially given his history.

This kid was a problem before he stepped on LSU campus. He has more potential than almost any player i have seen, but he is just a butthead. He is at a program where you don't have to be that good of a QB to win the NC and get drafted, just ask matt flynn. He couldn't even do that, its just a shame. I know James Carville is going be pissed.

What a shame, so much potential, but obviously he just couldn't get his act together. He'll transfer do a D-1AA school so he can start immediately, any word on where he's looking at so far?

RIP Darrent Williams and Damien Nash!

If god wasn't a Broncos fan, then why did he put Mile High closer to him than all the rest?

He's looking like Bobby Reid, except Reid was just hurt all the time, not an idiot.

Good story with some decent speculation regarding the dismissal...

He just signed with Jacksonville State, interesting to see how he will play there and if his troubles will go away. Also if he can make it to the next level like Flacco just recently did from 1-AA.

He definitely has the talent, and should excel at the 1-AA level, but Flacco was a completely different situation... there were no red flags waving around Flacco. Perrilloux has NFL talent from the neck down, but it remains to be seen if he can show any signs of maturity at Jacksonville State.

Its a sad situation but the kid put it on himself. It reminds me of Adrian Mcpherson who attended FSU around the time i was there. Now i knew guys on the team like Travis Johnson and Chris Rix from track meets back in Cali and i would barely see them out at parties, public ones i mean, but you would see adrian everywhere even before he was enroled he was in clubs or bars. so when he started getting into trouble it was no surprise. alot of these guys need to realixe if you are an athlete especially one with a legitimate shot at the pros you have to kind of be in a bubble. That means watching where you go what you do and who you associate with. because you now have become an investment not just for yourself and your school but for your family. You never really know a person behind closed doors. Mke vick and Todd Marinovich seemed like nice all american guys, but clearly they had issues. look at joe hamilton who would have thought he'd pull that crap. i honestly don't think i would give Perrilloux a chance on my team

I'm all for second chances, but third and fourth?

At some point it no longer becomes an issue of a mistake, or an error in judgment (both of which are certainly common of college-aged students and even moreso when the student in question is a football star with more opportunities to go wrong), but repeated, habitual offenses are more likely evidence of poor character.

What is it with highly-skilled college QBs with the first name Ryan??
