Ok, you got my money. Isn't that enough?
I am a Jags Fan and my main interest is in the draft. When you are a Jags fan, you are always looking forward to next year and a new crop of rookies. Coughlin could draft for beans, but Shack Harris seems to know what he is doing, so the kid has to keep up.
One more thing, I am probably old enough to be most of you guys father, so don't DIS me man!

I work with the only Jags fan in Oklahoma. Guy is crazy cuz he never gets to watch them.
Jags are a playmaker at wr away from being for real.

I still think they've got their guys in Reggie Williams and Ernest Wilford. Reggie reminds me of Darko Milicic of the Detroit Pistons. They drafted him high, and he has a purpose, to replace an older player when the time comes.

There is a draft philosophy that suggests that you let the draft come to you rather than you seeking it out. Now I am not talking about something as mundane as the Best Available Player, rather, look at the draft from where you pick and take the best of that which is most bountiful. Usually you can only do that at the beginning of the draft, because that which is best and bountiful, becomes scarce real fast. In the 2004 draft, the position that was both best and bountiful was at the WR position. The draft worked out for the Jags selecting at Pick 9, where the true BAP was Ben Roelisberger. The Jags already had their Franchise QB, so they could not take Roelisberger. The Jags were also reluctant to trade down with Buffalo, fearing that they would not get their man. Their man was Reggie Williams out of Washington.
Reggie Williams came out as a Junior, much like Larry Fitzgerald. Nobody is saying that he is the equal of Larry Fitzgerald. What some are doing are comparing him to Lee Evans and Michael Clayton, both Seniors with perhaps a bit more maturity. In the case of Michael Clayton, the Bucs don't have anybody to throw to but him, so he is getting much more looks.
The Jags have Jimmy Smith and a very young QB in Byron Leftwich. Due to NCAA rules, Reggie Williams did not get to work early with Leftwich, while Wilford did. Reggie has all the tools and has a lot of pride. Reggie also has a huge ego, which is a necessity for a potential Superstar WR. I think that Reggie will work harder than anyone this off-season and will be work with Leftwich to get down their timing. Reggie is going to turn heads next year, just watch.

Oh yea...we all know how good Reggie is. They will be very pleased with that selection in time--no doubt about.
Glad I'm no longer the oldest guy around, Stiggy, my friend.

Old enough to be my father? Probably, but most likely also old enough to be my grandfather (and draftguru's, as well).
