Finally, someone else with the good sense and intelligence to cheer for the Birds! I too am a diehard. Went to my first Eagles game at the Vet in 1974 (was only four years old at the time) and have been hooked ever since. My dad worked in PR for the Eagles on gamedays so my family got 4 front row seats on the field (the picnic area in left field, where the opposing team's tunnel was) for all the home games, plus I got to meet all of the players outside the locker room after the games (Bergey and Carmichael were my faves).

I only recently found this site too (about a month ago) and have really enjoyed it here so far. Lots of good info and opinions without too many big egos or complete morons (even if they don't have good taste in professional football teams) .

(Actually I was born in Reading and lived all over PA until I was 11, so I can sympathize.)
