The NFL Draft

2005-06 CDS All-Underappreciated Teams

About the All-Underappreciated Teams:

The CDS All-Underappreciated team is put together each summer in order to honor NCAA and/or NAIA football players regardless of division level whose play on the field exceeds the level of recognition the player has received nationally to date, and/or whose pro potential exceeds the common expectations currently abroad in the nation with regard to that player. While frequently a standout player from IAA, DII, DIII or NAIA school makes the list largely as a result of the lack of attention (comparatively-speaking) given to those divisions by the national media, sometimes even a player from an elite program (ex. Lendale White, USC) can make the team if he is being over-shadowed by the attention being given in the media to a teammate (in this case Reggie Bush.) CDS is committed to scouting ALL college prospects and in helping to raise the overall awareness level and name recognition of players who have, to this point, been underappreciated for their accomplishments on the field.
