Cal played very pooryl in this one. The UCLA game probably took a lot out of the team. The Beavers thoroughly outplayed them and even though the Bears had 3 potential game winning drives, they still lost the game. OSU beat their 1st ranked team in 5 years and celebrated with the band on the field after the game. After this game Cal falls way back in the PAC-10 stadings and will be lucky to be ranked.

Cal's PP's:

Donnie McCleskey- played poorly, enough said: negative

Ryan O'Callagahn- got hurt and is now potentially out for the year: n/a

Marvin Phillip- Was Ayoob bad because of the oline or was the oline bad because of Ayoob. Either way Phillip and the rest of the oline was bad: negative

Harrison Smith- played decent, just not fantastic. Cal needed a spark and he wasn't there for it: neutral

Other notes:

Ayoob played just vile, worst game for a Cal QB in 5+ years. A lot of people are calling for backup QB Steve Levy to get more playing time this week.

Cal's vaunted rushing attack was shut down this year, both Lynch and Forsett played poorly.

Oregon St's PP's:

Mike Hass- had only 8 yards, very strange for this Beaver team to upset Cal without him: negative

Keith Ellison- played pretty good but is still way undersized: neutral

Trent Bray- played well, this guy looks to have some great potential at the next level: positive

Cal, you keep letting me down. But like I told Adavis and JG, when Cal loses, the Broncos win which held true on Sunday. Hopefully Cal will be able to pick it up.
