UNM:
DonTrell is running again without the hesitation and lack of burst I saw at the beginning of the year. He had 36 carries for 182 yards and 2 TDs in this one. That was WITH Wyoming knowing he was getting the ball every time, and against a Wyoming defense that is much improved (34th in the country coming in.) I have added him back to the 90s in the Top 100.
Gabe Fulbright is a madman! He was everywhere and is playing more like a run support safety on running plays while still looking like a shutdown corner on passing plays.
C Ryan Cook is just a monster. Maybe not the best center in the country, but he sure is one of the scariest to get hit by.
Wyoming:
WR Jovon Bouknight is the REAL DEAL. The kid does everything and does it well. had a huge day and made one of the best one-handed grabs on a middle screen that I have ever seen. Scored a TD, had a huge 4th-down fake FG conversion run, and was VERY GOOD returning KOs too. Just the total package. mark Anderson came off the Top 100 for him. Let me know if anyone is opposed...(last I knew, Jeff--you weren't that enthralled with Anderson anyway.)
Cory Bramlett played a bonehead game. He doesn't look quite as good as his brother.
Junior safety John Wendling is the team's leading tackler and I just added a quickie writeup about him, Sam. Change it if you like.
The best player on the Wyoming team though is another junior, CB Derrick Martin (5'11", 193). He's a 10.5 100M guy and showed GOOD skills. He will go first day next year, you watch...
