What a great comeback for CSU in Sonny Lubick's 100th career win. CSU was down 13 in the 3rd but came back to win by 10. In a game where we saw a safety and 2 missed PAT's, the Rams beat the Lobos to take sole possession of 2nd place in the MWC. CSU gets TCU next week for a chance to take the lead in the MWC.

CSU PP's:

Justin Holland- just a week after a career day, Holland was at his best again. He was perfect until the mid 3rd quarter. He spread the ball around but was still able to find his favorite receiver, David Anderson, for 2 scores. He finished with just 6 incompletions and 312 yards: very positive

David Anderson- Anderson continues to amaze me, he is not the sick athlete most WR's are, he does not have the size, and yet he continues to play well. He had 2 TD receptions and 128 yards. His hands are glue, and he shows an ability to get open no matter the defender on him: very positive

NM PP's:

Hank Baskett- looked good early, but slowed down. Herbert did a great job on him and NM QB McKamey, tried to force things late to Baskett in which CSU intercepted: neutral

DonTrell Moore- became the 6th RB ever to rush for 1,000 yards in 4 straight seasons. Had 2 rushing TD's and 143 total yards. However in the 2nd half was seen hobbling on the sideline and played sparingly. Hopefully his injury has not come back to haunt him: positive

Gabe Fulbright- was smooth in coverage but Anderson managed to catch 8 balls. Muffed a punt return in which CSU recovered and converted into points: negative

Ryan Cook- his 6-7 frame was seen Friday night. He gave the QB all day to throw on DT's, but on LB blitzes, he seemed to slow to pick them up: slightly positive

Marcus Parker- I was not as impressed with him as I thought I would be. He got good penetration a couple of times, but was consistently blocked well. Also had a bonehead play in which he roughed the passer which seemed to awaken the Rams: negative

Logan Hall- blocked well but only had 1 reception for 7 yards, and that catch was in the first 2 minutes: negative

This NM underachieved in this game, but it is nothing new, they have done it all year. They now have 3 conference losses which knocks them out of the race. CSU has a huge matchup next week with TCU which should decide the MWC this year.
