College: Clemson Conference: Atlantic Coast

Charlie Whitehurst 6 604.0 227 4.95 QB

Neutral. He was pretty accurate most of the day. He has the ability to place the ball where he wants to keep his receivers from getting hit. Wideouts love playing for a qb like that. He has a really nice touch. He did seem to lose his composure towards the end of the game in a tight situation.

Jamaal Fudge 24 510.0 192 4.50 S

Positive. He seems like a very instinctive player. He's always around the ball and making solid tackles. Very active and physical.

Charles Bennett 86 604.0 254 N/A DE

Netural. He didn't hold up well against the run, but he was effective rushing the passer. Not sure he is an everydown NFL DE. Maybe just a situational pass rusher.

Tye Hill 8 510.0 178 4.40 CB

Positive. Did a GREAT job against Calvin all day, and that says alot. Was much more physical than I expected. He battles hard to jam the receivers. Was super solid for 60 minutes.

Gaines Adams 93 605.0 265 4.58 DE

Very Positive. Wow, this guy is amazing. Great speed for a guy his size, a real sleeper. Could have a future either at 34 OLB or 43 DE. I saw him and I was reminded of a young McGinest or Demarcus Ware. Still raw, doesn't have the complete game yet. If he stays and comes out after his senior year, he could be a top 10 pick easily.

College: Georgia Tech Conference: Atlantic Coast

Eric Henderson 56 603.0 265 4.78 DE

Positive. Moster game for Henderson for sure. He was disruptive for sure. He has a very complete game and really plays hard.

P.J. Daniels 45 510.0 210 N/A HB

Neutral. He had a decent game and had some nice runs. Problem is that he goes down on the first hit almost everytime. Not a good trait for a running back.

Reuben Houston 9 600.0 190 4.50 CB

DNP

Dawan Landry 20 602.0 215 4.60 S

Slightly Positive. He had a solid game. He looked comfortable in coverage and seems faster than the 4.6 we have here. He's one of those guys that doesn't have track speed but has nice acceleration in small spaces. Solid tackler.

Gerris Wilkinson 49 604.0 230 4.70 LB

Slightly Positive. He has a solid perfomance and was in on alot of plays. He seems a little more stiff than I expected. He could be an okay 34 ILB if he bulks up and works on shedding blocks.

Mansfield Wrotto 97 602.0 300 N/A DT

Netural. He didn't make much of an impact on the game. He had a hard time matching up with Clemson's line and couldn't get much push for whatever reason.

I agree on Gaines...he is definitely high on my watch list.

What did Henderson do to impress you, Jeff? Do we have him ranked about right do you think?
jcarnahan
Yeah he is ranked about right. He isn't "ideal" as far as size/speed goes. He is similar to a Erasmus James is some respects, but not as "ideal" a prospect as James was. He impressed me by making several plays in the backfield and getting good penetration. That's always impressive from a short DE.
