I like this kid but I have heard alot of stuff about his weird throwing motion. I like his size and his speed, I see him as a slighty slower but taller Vick. He has great arm strengh and mobility but misses wide open WRs at times. I think he could be a good NFL QB but there are those who see him as a WR in the NFL. Thoughts?

BTW I have heard a report on ESPN radio that he is infact going to come out this year because his coach told him he was a top 10 pick, I see him coming out especially if he wins the national championship

His throwing motion can sometimes be a little weird. I like him though, he can throw or run. He does have a pretty powerful arm. Sometimes I wonder what hes thinking when he throws the ball, but i suppose everyone makes mistakes. I really think he needs to stay for another season to better himself before going into the draft though. overall i think he will make a good QB for whoever picks him up. May take a few years to develope.

I watched the majority of his games at Texas, and I have to say the throwing motion bothers me. People will say I'm being overly crtical and just looking for something to say, but I've only seen one highly sucessful NFL QB with a throwing motion similar to his and that was Bernie Kosar. I just don't know that Young is on a level with Kosar in terms of pure quarterbacking ability. Obviously he is a better athlete and brings that dimension to the table, but I'm not sold on him having a simlar draft grade to Manning/Rivers/Big Ben/A.Smith. I wouldn't take him in the first round, but I think somebody will.
