After trailing 16-0, OSU came back and made it a game, trailing 23-20 at the half. After an uneventful 3rd quarter, OSU scored the first 21 points in the 4th and never looked back, beating the Big 12 North leading Cornhuskers 41-29. OSU Sophomre QB Bobby Reid looked great, throwing for 229 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for another 75 yards. Nebraska's Brandon Jackson had a terrific game in front of his idol, OSU alum Barry Sanders.

SCOUTING SUMMARY:

College: Nebraska Conference: Big 12 Columnist: Jeff Carnahan and Jim ODell

Adam Carriker 90 6' 6.0" 295 DE 2007

He was unstoppable in the first half, sacking Bobby Reid twice, making tackles for losses, batting down balls and even blocking an extra point. The real deal as a defensive end. Grade: Positive

Matt Herian 6' 5.0" 245 TE 2007

Did not catch a pass.

Jay Moore 44 6' 4.0" 280 DE 2007

Was in on a few tackles but hardly heard his name called all day long.

Zac Taylor 13 6' 2.0" 210 QB 2007

Played well, throwing 2 scores, no picks and scrambled for 20 yards on seven attempts, including one for 16 yards and a first down. Looks like a really good pro prospect. Grade: Positive

Brandon Jackson 32 5' 11.0 210 RB 2008

Nebraska is a RBBC, with four talented backs. Today was Jackson's day to shine, rushing for 182 yards on 21 carries. He looked explosive as he hit holes and was tough to bring down. Grade: Very Positive

Bo Ruud 0' 0.0" 0 0.00 LB 2008

Did not hear his name called very much today. Grade: Poor

Andrew Shanle 8 6' 1.0" 210 S 2007

Ditto for Shanle. Grade: Poor

Tierre Green 30 6' 0.00" 210 S 2008

Ahman's cousin looked good, grabbing an opportune interception and making some nice tackles, including one that saved a score. Grade: Nuetral

College: Oklahoma State
Name # Ht Wt Speed Pos Class Game Notes

Victor DeGrate 51 6' 3.0" 250 0.00 DE 2007

Was banged up early, but returned. This guy plays with such a high motor, he was all over the place. Made a nice play downfield chasing Jackson down on a busted play. Look very good: Grade: Positive.

Corey Hilliard 75 6' 5.0" 310 0.00 OT 2007

Saw Hilliard make some nice blocks all day. Never heard his number called for a penalty. Grade: Positive

Ryan McBean 93 6' 5.0" 290 0.00 DT 2007

Was in on some plays. Saw him get a 1/2 sack. Not a bad game, but not geat. Grade: Neutral

D'Juan Woods 84 6' 1.0" 210 0.00 WR 2007

Caught four balls for 87 yards, including a 55 yarder. Has potential to be a very good NFL receiver. Grade: Positive

Roderick Johnson 2 6' 2.0" 255 0.00 LB 2008

Got worked over in the first half. Overall, did not have a great game. Grade: Neutral

Adarius Bowman 12 6' 4.0" 230 0.00 WR 2008

Man, is he a load to bring down. Only three catches, but one was a 45 yard score. Is another talented wideout for OSU. Grade: Positive.

Jim, glad to hear that Carriker played well. Others have said his play has been lackluster lately.

I haven't heard much about DeGrate at all. Is he a guy we should be focusing more attention on?

I didn't really OSU had this caliber of receiving corps. Who would you take first--Bowman or Woods?

Going into the game, Carriker only had one sack. But he played very well and had a monster first half.

DeGrate is someone I'll be keeping a close eye on. The whole OSU defensive line are seniors. I think DeGrate is the best of them. He is very intense.

I'd have to say right now I like Bowman a bit more than Woods. Bowman is taller, bigger and stronger than Woods.

I tried to add the photo, but it doesn't seem to want to upload. Any suggestions?
