Not so fast my friend! The Wolverines put those thoughts to end after their first drive netted them a TD. They easily took care of a young IU team. This was just a tuneup for the big game next weekend.

MICH 34

Leon Hall-Another great game for him. Had 3 PBUs and was tested, and always got the best of Hardy. He actually has a better backpedal than I originally thought and just does not get beat. GRADE POSITVE 29 5' 11.0" 196 4.48 CB 2007

Steve Breaston-Actually looked like a WR today. Had a huge game nabbing a few scores and had some great returns. Sold his routes, but he was going against inferior DBs. Did have some lapses in concentration, but really was one of his most impressive games he has had in his career. GRADE-VERY POSITIVE 15 6' 1.0" 178 4.40 WR 2007

Jake Long-Is a pure technique tackle. Is not flashy, but so effective. Didn’t impress me in the run game, he didn’t go as downhill as I like to see. Played position well and is a solid mid first day guy IMO. GRADE-POSITIVE 77 6' 7.0" 330 5.30 OT 2008

Tyler Ecker-Did not start, had 1 catch. Used as a blocker which he did okay. What happened to this guy? GRADE-INC
89 6' 6.0" 251 4.80 TE 2007
Chad Henne-Love his quick drop. Still not a fan of his delivery, but he gets the ball where it needs to go quick. Just a rifle of an arm. Stared down receivers a bit, but has been improving on going through progressions. Continues to be a smart, efficient QB. GRADE-POSITIVE 7 6' 2.0" 226 5.00 QB 2008

Mike Hart-Another day at the office. Churns out extra yardage and gets a ton of yards after contact. He finds holes most backs don’t see. GRADE-POSITIVE 20 5' 9.0" 193 4.60 HB 2008

Alan Branch-Has a tendency to play a bit high, but was dominant early. Just was so much better than his opponent(s). Makes up ground in the backfield so quickly. GRADE-POSITIVE 80 6' 6.0" 325 5.00 DT 2008

LaMarr Woodley-Was doubled all game long. Did have a TFL and did get some quality pressure on the QB. Did not play the whole game and was just an avg game for him. GRADE-NEUTRAL 56 6' 2.0" 274 4.70 DE 2007
David Harris-Man we really need to move this guy up. He is an absolute head hunter. I haven’t seen a ILB get to the ball so quickly all year. Had great pass rush ability from his position. Fast legs, intense, rough high motor, extremely quick to the ball. Really moving up the boards. GRADE-VERY POSITIVE 45 6' 2.0" 251 4.70 LB 2007

Prescott Burgess-DNS, DNP 6 6' 3.0" 243 4.80 LB 2007

Willis Barringer-I really just haven’t been all that impreesed with him this year. I think he’s the FS on a terrific defense, but his presence just isn’t felt to me. Was involved in some coverage plays, but not impressive. GRADE-NEGATIVE 19 6' 0.0" 207 4.60 S 2007

Mark Bihl-Really focused in on him because I know a lot of people are curious about him. He is one of the better centers I have seen all year. Love how he stays nice and low. Quick snap and then into assignment. Great run blocker. GRADE-POSITIVE 54 6' 4.2" 299 5.18 C 2007

Jamar Adams-Will be a stud next year when he has the team to himself. Not impressive on Sat, just 1 tackle. GRADE-NEGATIVE 22 6' 1.3" 210 4.58 S 2008

IU 3
James Hardy-Runs tight routes. Great push up the line. Had a tough time with Hall, most guys do. Was a sloppy blocker, which disappointed me. Bottom line is that he was going against a top notch secondary with an insane pass rush with a freshman QB. He has big time NFL potential. GRADE-NEUTRAL

Will Myers-Was hyped up as a pretty good and only an average performance. This is the type of game you make a case for your self and I wasn’t terribly impresses. GRADE-NEUTRAL

Good to see Big Blue taking care of their bussiness early and not let a crappy team stick around with them.

I like his size something around 6-8 isn't it? What made you think he had big time NFL potential?

Harris went from the 80s to #40 this week. You think he should be even higher than that, Adam?
adavis
MC-He is also on the basketball team. He has legit hands and I think is going to be a good pro. You should see him push up the line of scrimmage, its sweet. He hasnt had production, but hes playing with a fresh QB.

POM-Yeah, he should be a 2nd rounder. I dont see him in that Blades, Willis mode yet, but he's pushing Siler(should he declare) for top MLB. He is really good.

I agree with Adam on Harris. He made a play in the flat that made my jaw drop on a WR screen that VERY few MLBs could even hope to play. He's really a pretty rare talent. I think he's better than Blades due to his range and on par with Willis and Davis.

As to Bihl, watch for him this weekend against Pitcock. Should be a great match-up.

I think Pitcock is the most overrated DT in this draft. He has Antajj Hawthorne written all over him.

HB Blades and Buster Davis are MLBs. I love his size and he is faster than Blades, but nowhere near as fast as Davis. Is #40 OK for now, or would you guys like to see him even higher?

I like Demarcus Tyler over Pitcock and would love to (roughly) swap their spots in the top 100...Any objections?
bredden
I disagree with both of you. Pitcock is much more consistent than Tyler from what I've seen of the two of them. I think Pitcock is a late first, early second round guy. Tyler's not far behind, but defintely not ahead of him.
