Frank Solich is now officially back as a top-tier NCAA IA coach. What he has done with the Bobcats program in his short tenure is nothing short of miraculous. Ohio has very few top athletes, but they PLAY.

SCOUTING SUMMARY:

College: Ohio Conference: Mid-American Columnist: Craig Fobbe
Name # Ht Wt Speed Pos Class Game Notes

Matt Muncy 50 6' 2.0" 240 0.00 LB 2007: Not the possible first-day candidate we thought he might be early on, but the guy is a football player. He had a FR for a TD, and was in the backfield plenty. He is a blue-collar guy who may have a shot as a backup NFL ILB. Good size, and decent quickness for a 240-pound guy. He is a self-made guy with a good motor. Didn't wrap as well as I thought he would. Lots of just misses in the backfield in this one. But, he will hit you when he plays his spot without rushing. Reads and diagnoses well. GRADE: Slightly positive

College: Akron Conference: Mid-American Columnist: Craig Fobbe
Name # Ht Wt Speed Pos Class Game Notes

Luke Getsy 16 6' 1.8" 220 4.90 QB 2007: He is not a big league talent in terms of arm strength or athleticism, but he is a bit like a Bruce Gradkowski from Toledo who has started games this year in the NFL in terms of his short-range accuracy and decision-making. Very efficient kid who won't hurt you with dumb plays. Remember, he was originally a Pitt Panther who left because of Palko. Has lots of intangibles but no "wow" factor. I can see him being a 6th-UDFA who surprises and makes a roster. GRADE: Neutral

Nate Robinson 95 6' 4.5" 315 5.15 DT 2008: Didn't make a single impression. just a big body. GRADE: Slightly negative

Andy Alleman 57 6' 3.7" 295 5.10 OG 2007: This guy is as solid a sleeper OG as there is in this class. I am really impressed with the way he approaches the game. Not a huge road grader-type, but he looks like he could end up as a 320-pound nightmare for opposing DTs in time because he knows the game and plays so hard. May even be drafted, despite the fact no one is talking about him much on the net. (Pro scouts like him.) A bit John-Hannah like, but without the mauler characterisitics. GRADE: Positive

Kiki Gonzalez 97 6' 1.0" 300 5.20 NT 2007: Ho hum. Does his job at the collegiate level. No physical prowess to make you think he will be in a camp--but you never know. GRADE: negative

OTHER NOTES: Ohio CB T.J. Wright deserves to be in the database when you get a chance, Craig.
