The JMU Dukes were flying high entering the fourth quarter with a 31-20 lead and the ball, but a big TFL on JMU's tailback forced a punt, and the Penguins of Youngstown State rallied behind a very impressive performance from junior QB Tom Zetts to move to the round of eight in the IAA playoffs.

Alvin Banks 1 5' 9.5" 220 0.00 HB 2007: Decent small school back, who had the longest run of the day (43 yards). Shows decent burst and hands. Looks the part. Low center of gravity. Not sure if he as the wheels to do much more than what he has already done, and I'd love to know how he was shoved out of the feature back role this season. GRADE: Neutral
Justin Rascati 11 6' 1.5" 220 4.70 QB 2007: Justin has really impressed me this year. He has matured and really doesn't make the mistakes he used to make. He was awesome running the ball in this one with TD runs of 10 and 27 yards. Makes all the throws. I worry that running has become too much a part of his game, because he'll never be able to do much of that at the next level. I also worry some about his size. GRADE: Positive
Akeem Jordan 23 5' 11.5" 225 0.00 LB 2007: Just named the A-10 Defensive POTY this week, and he played very well in this loss. Very good blitzer and big play TFL guy. Not sure he could play MLB in the pros though because of his size. Pretty decent in pass coverage so he may have a remot shot as a WILL. Also took the direct snap on a fake 4th down punt and ran for the 1st down. Need to see his forty times. I'm thinking he might transition to SS if he is a sub 4.65 guy. GRADE: Slightly positive
Corey Davis 65 6' 3.3" 340 0.00 OT 2007: He is a guard playing LOT and the footwork just is not there. Lumbers. Gets beaten badly with the rush around him deep. Can not make up for an initial move by the defender. Does not look like a killer drive blocking either and cuts an awful lot and is on the ground too much. GRADE: Negative
Phil Minafield 5 5' 11.5" 195 0.00 S 2007: Just another guy out there. GRADE: Neutral

Demetrius Ison 35 6' 0.0" 230 0.00 FB 2007: Did not scout him adequately. GRADE: Inc.
Tom Zetts 24 6' 1.0" 210 0.00 QB 2008: He was very impressive. Threw for a ton of yards and did so with accurately and even a littl bit of zip which I hadn't heard he had. They say he can't throw as well in the pocket as he does on the run, but he did pretty well from the pocket today. Size will always be a concern. GRADE: Slightly positive
Marcus Mason 23 5' 9.0" 215 0.00 HB 2007: Showed a lot of toughness by playing hurt and was the go-to guy on the late game-winning TD drive and he produced. Big school trasnfer who make it to a camp because of his toughness and resume. GRADE: Neutral
Ryan Jewell 52 6' 4.0" 285 0.00 C 2007: I actually liked what I saw from this small school gem. He moves his feet very well and gets a pretty good push. Sets up quickly in pass pro and uses his hands well. Could be a sleeper at the center position for sure. GRADE: Positive
Codera Jackson 3 5' 10.0" 180 0.00 CB 2007: Fills in run support quite well. Didn't see enough of him in pass coverage to grade, though he looked alright in the couple of plays he was involved in.
T.J. Peterson 9 6' 0.1" 190 4.60 WR 2007: Had not scouted TJ before, and I came away very impressed with this kid. The 4.60 is just an estimate, and we definitely need to watch closely for the YSU pro day results when they come out, because this kid has everything else. Showed great separation quickness, the willingness to go over the middle and make the catch in traffic. Displayed great hands. Handled all the return duties too. Won the game for YSU today. GRADE: Very positive
Best player on the field was #19 Johnnie McGee, a DB for JMU. He is an underclassman to remember. Had a 99-yard KORFTD and was a real dynamo supporting the run and knocking away passes.
