The Commander-in-Chief trophy once again is kept in the hands of the Navy Midshipmen. I can't help but feel remorse for the Army football team. The Black Knights put out there best effort in over five years and they still couldn't overcome them. Coach Bobby Ross and the Army Senors were especially burdened. This is a great rivalry though and the only people it looked like Army was mad at were themselves.

College: Army Conference: IA Independents Columnist: Jeff Carnahan
Name # Ht Wt Speed Pos Class Game Notes

Caleb Campbell 13 6' 3.0" 223 0.00 S 2008: Must be injured because there was no #13 anywhere on the Black Knights' field of play. It was a shame because I was really looking forward to scouting him. Grade: Inc.

Other Players to Watch:

Mike Viti 5-10 242 FB 2008:: A real tough runner who was the bulk load of Army's offense in this game. Grade: Slightly Positive.

Jeremy Trimble 6-0 214 WR 2008:: A good route runner with decent hands and speed. I looked up his stats; two years of over 500 yards receiving and two punts returned for touchdowns this year as a starter. Grade: Slightly Positive.

Cameron Craig 6-4 251 DE 2007:: Cameron's a guy who is a run containing DE and a good one at that. Two years of over 15 TFLs does show on the field. Cameron has tons of presence on the field and is a natural leader who was very upset and disappointed by the loss. I see a little bit of Grant Wistrom in this guy and I sincerely hope he gets a shot at the next level. Grade: Slightly Positive.

Adam Ballard 22 6' 1.0" 223 0.00 FB 2008: Injured in the first quarter. Had a brace around his lower leg and was walking around in crutches the remainder of the game. Grade: Inc.

Rob Caldwell 57 6' 0.0" 229 0.00 LB 2007: Maybe it's me but I don't see how this guy could of made 140 tackles last season and still have around 90 tackles this season. This guy just does not go seem to get after it and he's not fast at all. It seems like every time he makes a tackle its 5 yards from the line-of-scrimmage and it's always assisted. It doesn't help him either that he can't shed blocks well. Grade: Slightly Negative.

Brian Hampton 3 5' 11.0" 208 4.55 QB 2007: Did not play. Could of played but Coach Johnson wanted to make sure he didn't get a rusty game from his former starting quarterback. Grade: Inc.

Other Players to Watch:

Keenan Little 5'11'' 195 CB 2007: I saw this man in the Notre Dame and I was still just as impressed with him in this game. Makes nice tackles for a cornerback, has a good reaction time, and seems to play with a little swagger from what I could see of him. From what I've read he can also play safety. Grabbed an interception for a touchdown to help seal up the Midshipmen's victory. Grade: Slightly Positive.

Tyler Tidwell 6'2'' 224 OLB 2007: A great pass-rusher who is just as good against the run. A better pro prospect than fellow teammate Rob Caldwell in my opinion. Had two sacks on the day. Grade: Positive.
