Sealed his man and no snap issues to speak of. Got called for holding and couldn't dig Martavius Prince out of the middle. When he got to the 2nd level looked lost. Not a bad job but, not great either. Grade: Neutral
Ian Johnson 41 5'11.0" 194 4.50 RB 2009
3 TDs on the evening and about 140 yards . Had a fumble that he recovered. Looks quicker than fast as he got ran down by a DB. Cuts on a dime. At times is too patient and pitter pats waiting for the hole. Lowers his pads and hits hard. Caught the ball well out of the backfield and works better in space. Most of his yards were on the outside as the middle was occupied all evening. Looks to me like a change of pace back at the next level as size is a concern. Grade: Slightly Positive
Ryan Clady 79 6'6.0" 319 5.30 OT 2009
Locked out his man all evening. Very impressive, moves his feet well and once he sets up and locks his arms out the DE will not get to the QB. Sticks to his blocks. At times, cut blocks when he really doesn't need to. Grade: Positve
Marty Tadman 20 5'11.0" 182 4.50 S 2008
12 tackles and had 3 big punt returns. Likes to hit and has a nose for the ball. Got beat on a pass but, other than that a very good game. Size is a concern for the next level. Grade: Positive
Tad Miller 66 6'4.0" 304 5.35E OG 2008
Got pushed back a few times on the evening. Looked really good in space when he pulled and is able to hit a moving target. Looked mobile. Grade: Neutral
Pete Cavender 64 6'2.0" 293 OG 5.30E 2008
Got into Prince but couldn't clear him out. Had a nice cut block in space. Really didn't create a lot of holes up the middle but, did a good job of sealing on outside runs. Grade: Neutral

Chris Clark 75 6'5.0" 295 5.15 2008
Split time between guard and tackle and I'm not sure why. Stoned a blitzer. Got into a couple of guys and just mauled them. Gets into trouble when he bends at the waist instead of the knees. Not as effective in the 2nd level. Looks more like a guard to me. Grade: Slightly Positive
Martavius Prince 97 6'3.0" 286 5.10 2008
Really impressive NT/DT. Can take up space and is a solid anchor. Eats up blockers and was double teamed and they still couldn't clear him out. Most of Boise's yards were on the outside. Not really a pass rusher but pushes the pocket. Good endurance as he didn't tire into the 4th quarter. Has the body to put on another 30-40 pounds. Could be the anchor in any type of defense from what I saw against Boise. Grade: Very Positive
Damion Fletcher 25 5'10.0" 195 4.45 2010
Looks very quick and fast. Didn't do anything exceptionally special. Looks very undersized. Has time to get bigger and gain weight. He looked 10 pounds lighter than listed. Grade: Neutral
Game Notes: Shawn Nilson TE SM looks to have everything you want in a TE...Brandon Summrall DB SM had an interception......Devry Henderson DT SM also was effective in clogging the middle.

Clady reminds me a little of Trai Essex, but less powerful and more nimble. Tadman is a a real "old school" safety he has a little of that Larry Wilson, toughness, his measurable mean he'll have to fight his way onto a roster, but I bet he'll be hard to cut.
Prince is like the : "After Nutri-System" Casey Hampton, if he can bet bigger and stronger and still move like that he will be very good. What did you think of Tharp?
