..in this weak division.
They have been my Super Bowl pick for the last 4 years! I think if they make the playoffs, they can get there. If they put together 4 or 5 good games towards the end of the season, and get consistent QB play, they could be the cream of the NFC.
Any thoughts?

I hate to disagree with you but the Bucs are now the favorite to win this division. Carolina's O-Line and D-Line are horrible, they have no 2nd or 3rd WR and their secondary changes every game due to injuries. I believe the Bucs, currently 5-4 and 2-0 in conference play, finish the year 9-7 but win the division mainly because they have 4 conference games remaining on their schedule.

Panthers have many needs:
Qb-I dont think Jake will last he is done IMO
Rb-Deangelo Willilams is not an every down back, it is a shame b/c they passed on Addai, Maroney, and MJD in that draft.
Wr- After Smith they have noone, Jarret is a bust.
Ol- They have lots of pices but it just isnt working
De- Rucker is done
Olb- Beason needs some help to the side Davis didnt work out
S- Who do they have besides Chris Harris
Overall, I can see this team going 4-12 if they dont have a good draft.

The Bucs are okay, but if the Saints get some D, they have by far the best offense, and would walk away from the Bucs. I know the Bucs D was supposedly the "NFL's No1" D, but you have to take into consideration who they played too. When the 49ers put up 21 points, I don' care if Garcia played or not, that is not the NFL's No1 D. If they were in the NFC East...a last place team.

The panthers have alot of needs and Qb is not one of them. I think they will let Wahle go for cap reasons and Foster might be gone aswell. I think on the O side we need a LT,2 WR's and a bigger HB than Foster. T.J Duckett could be the panthers #2 HB next year. I think we will use the free agent pool to upgrade our O side. We have to free up cap space first and Lucas,Wahle and Foster have been rumored in getting cut or traded this year to save money in the cap space. Peppers contract will have to be redone this year aswell for cap reason's aswell. I think Jerome Mathis(WR) will be a Panther next year and could help with the return game and could be a #4 WR on this team. I think they will sign Hoover back to play FB and Gross with be back at the RT spot. I think we are screwed at the WR, because there are none in the free agent pool besides Moss to get. I think we draft a WR and let Jarett fight for the #2 spot. QB will be fine and Moore will be the backup for Delhome if he goes down again. I think drafting a LT in the first and a healthy Delhome should help the O side out alot. Duckett should help near the goal line for witch the panthers did a very bad job last year.
If we have a decent O game and a good D we should be in the mix of things next year.
On the D side we need pass rush very bad to help this good D. We are set at all the LB's spots and Beason has made sure that the LB thing is in good hands. We have 2 good corners in Gamble,Marshall and Harris was a steal from the bears last year. We are weak at SS,DT,DE and those can be upgraded in the draft. Our D was still pretty good last year and if we had some O game it would have been better. I think we trade up in the draft, because Phillips will be gone by 13. We pick Sam Baker(LT) to play LT and we pick up a extra 2nd round pick. The LT class is very good this year and Baker is a huge upgrade over Wharton. Baker,Gross,Kali,Bridges,Hartwig will hold down a good Oline next year.
I think we draft a Frank Okam(DT) to go aside Jenkins next year and he is a freak and could help our pass rush in a much needed way. We then pick up Chris Ellis(DE) of VT for the RE spot and just that quick we have a killer D line and a killer D. We would have Peppers,Jenkins,Okam,Ellis to be a good front four and Johnson,Mclover to back them up. We still need a saftety and we could get one in the 3rd round with Marcus Griffin(S) of Texas to compete with Cooper if we resign him. We should have a better O,D line next year and if we get the running game going we could be a 10-6 or 11-5 team next year.

I am a bears fan and would like them to sign Gross. What do you panthers fans feel about him and whats the vibe there? Will Carolina resign him?

I am am not even impressed with deangelo either, although i loved watching him at memphis whas it?
To help out the qb situation and to maybe put another guy in the box and take pressure of Steve Smith(IMO the best WR in the league) they should take Mendenhall or Stewart in the 1st

Ya it was Memphis. I dont think they should take a rb. Deangelo is solid.
