So next Sunday, Dallas comes to New York to sweep the series. This is going to be a huge game to determine who takes the East because I don't see either team losing to the 'Skins or Eagles this year. The first game was very high scoring, but both teams have improved on defense. Both teams come in at full strength this time and should be a great game, only to be outdone next week by Colts/Chargers. Romo and Eli went off in Week 1, and it very well could happen again with suspect secondaries. TO and Plax are playing amazing, and both teams have a nice dual threat in the backfield. It's going to be a great game. Who ya got?

I'm going to go ahead and take Dallas in this one. Personally, I think that Dallas is playing on another level offensively. While the Giants do certainly have the pass-rush to give Tony Romo fits, lets not forget about Marion Barber. I think the Cowboys have the Giants' number, thanks to their extremely well-balanced offense. They are equally explosive both on the ground and in the air, and if 1 guy can put the shutdown on Plaxico Burress, I really think it's Terrence Newman.

Just for the sake of disagreement I'm going to take the Giants. The Giants have got a great committee backfield going on with maybe 3 guys who run the ball at you in all sorts of different ways. Add into that the playmaking ability of the likes of Plaxico Burress, and the more mature Eli Manning and you have one hell of an offence. Then the Giants D. This defense is as close as you will find to dominating in the NFC. They lead the league in sacks I believe and if they can get ahead early in the game, they can afford to put alot of pressure on Tony Romo and risk giving up the odd big play. Also, Aaron Ross (I think) has started looking much more assured at corner, and I think the Giants secondary is improved because of that. It'll be close mind, I can tell you that.

Since week 1, Aaron Ross has looked like a top 15 pick, and the darndest thing is that nobody is talking about him at all. He's had an outstanding season so far, and I'm really impressed by the Giants D altogether. That being said, I don't think they have the explosive offensive capabilities that the Boys do, but it should be a fantastic match-up, well worth watching I'm sure.

Dallas for sure inless they hand the Giants the game. Giants good, yet Eli is all over the place, better year this year but still very unstable. If he is on though, he will have a shot against a somewhat weak Cowboys secondary. Dalls is rushing and playing agressive, nice to see finally!

I think the G-Men will be in the NFC Championship game. Ross IMO, should be up for rookie of the year. Willis looks good too, as does David Harris.
Asteinebach
Yeah, it's tough to argue with the production we've seen out of David Harris. Which brings up another point, where's Vilma off to in the 2008? I think he'd be a great fit for Denver, who have been lacking at inside LB since the departure of Al Wilson...

Looks like I was wrong! Great game though, and hopefully the G-Men won't capitulate in the rest of the season like they have done in previous years!
