I think NY will be going deep early and often. Clemens really opens up that part of the field, and the corners are the Steelers weak point, IMHO.
Seems like the Steelers always underachieve against inferior opponents; we'll see if that trend continues.
When Washington played them, they seemed to have some success with the screen (just based on highlights I saw) so that might be an oppurtunity for some yards.
We don't have a big enough sample to tell how Mangini is out of the bye, but they should be fully rested and geared up for the black and gold.

The Steelers always play to the level of competition. So I definitely agree on that. The corners aren't bad. Actually, Ike Taylor is as good as any corner you'll find outside of Champ Bailey. His weakness is the fade route. He can run with any WR and will tackle and support the run. He is strong enough of mind that if he's struggling, he doesn't give up. Cowher made him a scapegoat for last year's problems. He, like many of the 06 Steelers were still hungover from the SB. He's flourishing under Tomlin. Deshea Townsend is a weak link. Technically sound, but can't keep up with the athletic studs at WR.
Welcome to the site HMK! Keep posting and I think they are open. However, Patriot of Maine will let you know.
