just as it says, should Andy reid, considering all the problems he's been having, be let go?

OK...I've voted yes and here's why. Firstly, you've got to do it for the sake of Andy Reid's family. They need him far more than the Eagles do, and surely they need to let him put his family first. I know what he's said, but we know that's because he doesn't want to walk away because the going is tough.

Secondly, despite the weapons the Eagles have, they're going downhill. Can Reid motivate them anymore? Is his gameplan good enough? Who knows...but for this too, he needs to go!

I agree cjs, the eagles have MAYBE 1 more year with McNabb at the helm (if that, now with a sprained ankle), not to mention Reid hasn't been able to adjust for the recovering McNabb. Also, His family needs him a lot more than the Eagles do, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him stay, nor surprised to see him go (very much the same with Donovan, especially if it helps us long term)

I voted to let him go, but the thing is, Andy Reid is not going anywhere unless he wants to. This ownership group is so comfortable with Andy Reid at the helm, regardless of any issues he may at home, that they won't pull the plug on him (think Bill Cowher in Pittsburgh). And besides, if Andy Reid does leave, who's stepping in? (I'll give you a hint, he took the wind instead of the ball in overtime...)

Let me say that morally he should go...family comes first and he needs to get his house in order. Though looking at it from a business perspective and fan's point of view, this team has never been more competitive than with Reid at the helm and Management needs to ensure he stays at the helm...though with a few changes. Those changes are a) he needs to be either the head coach OR the EVP...he can't do both because his work has suffered since doing both, and b) he needs to let Mornhinweg call the plays because Marty has a better sense of what plays work on the fly than Reid's ridged and structured playcalling which does not allow for adjustment during a game.
