Right now LSU is in a fascinating defensive struggle with the unranked Arkansas Razorbacks. Through the first half, DMC already has about 150 yards and 2 touchdowns, despite having a pretty slow start to the game. Hester's looked good, he scored a TD in the third quarter, which brings the Tigers back in the contest. Arkansas has some serious potential to knock LSU off, it's going to come down to 4th Quarter execution. This is literally where a national championship contender has to prove their intestinal fortitude. What a game.

P.S. I thought Early Doucet still looked average at best...

Wow, talk about your all time shake up's. I knew McFadden and Jones were a hell of a combo in the backfield, but I really didn't see them getting past LSU so easily. Now you have to think the winner of the Mizz/Kansas game and WVU or OSU will be back in contention for the national title.

It was a great game. Arkansas outplayed LSU. Turnovers were not the issue for LSU, they just got beat!

I turned the game on with about 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Wow! What a finish.

Adds even more intrigue to the Kansas-Mizzou game.

I honestly feel like this is shaping up to be the greatest College Football season that I have watched in a long time. Now with LSU out of contention, like you said, there is incredible pressure on both Kansas and Mizzou. Knowing that the winner is probably going to the N.C.

And how about the performence of Darren McFadden? We can say it week after week, but it never gets old, this kid is so talented. I've had a top 5 opinion of him, but now I'm sold he's the #1 overall in the draft. And the other player I want to give some props to after tonights game is Colt Brennen. I think it's time NFL Scouts really fix their eye upon this kid for the December 1st bowl game. I understand WAC competition isn't great, but this kid does have heaping helpings of talent. I watched him rally his team again tonight, and I think he threw for 5 TD passes. He put that team on his shoulders and brought em to victory. I like a player who knows the affect his play can have on the entire team. And from where I sit, I think Colt is a pretty good leader.
