With OU lacking the big plays that Murray would provide and Daniels improving, I too would lean towards the Tigers from Columbia. It should be a very good and close game, the team with better secondary play will likely win! wink.gif

It will be a close one for sure, but Missouri's defense has to show up this game, They did nothing in the second half against Kansas, and littlei n the first other than watch Kansas choke.

The secondary is weak for sure. Coaching will be a huge factor here to me. Who can prey on the weakness of the other the most. NO Turnovers!

I lean to Missouri though, Daniels is tough, and if they can drive like they did before, their time of possession was great last game.

Oklahoma. Sam Bradford is better than people know, which is proven by his freshman TD passing record and the fact that he's leading the Division 1-A in passer rating. I think Bradford will pick apart the Missouri secondary, which is vulnerable.

I agree the secondary that gives up the most big plays will be the loser, as is usually the case, but I have a feeling that some seam routes for Missouri will break long and the very talented Bradford will make 1 or 2 key mistakes. wink.gif

Funny looking at it, Missouri can't punt. Netting 30 yards per punt, they better step it up against Oklahoma, a poor special teams showing like that will lose you a close game. Don't give Oklahoma good field position!

I agree with you about bradford but he is coming off an injury and the defense i am worried about is the sooners they were really exposed by Texas Tech. i mean if graham harrell did that think what Chase Daniel will do. plus missouri has a chip on their shoulder and something to prove to the country. this is going to be an emotionally charged game and i have to go against the grain and pick mizzou they are playing not only for a spot in the NC but a likely Heisman for Daniel. big players have big games.

Missouri, for one reason. If missouri losses. How messed up would the bcs picture look. Lets just get this over. If they win they deserve to be in the championship game

Don't be surprised that Harrell did that well against Oklahoma. I knew that TT had a good chance coming in to that game because of him. Harrell has been picking teams apart all year. He has 900 more passing yards than any other QB in college football. He also has 45 TD passes and a QB rating of over 160.

Well, the BCS picture has been messed with a lot this year, so don't be surprised if it happens again today.

A-hem....it happened. And not only did Mizzou lose, so did WVU. So now what? I think we should just call it a year. I'm tired.

On the positive side for Missouri, the defense looked fantastic at times. On the downside, their offense couldn't get the ball moving to save their lives. Can't remember their RB's name off hand, but he was a boomer at 22 yards total today. Chase Daniel was shakey around 50% passing with 239 yards and an INT. Can't say that that's heisman material.

Looks like I was right again. But I would've never thought that WV could lose to a Pitt team that had lost earlier in the year to Navy at home. But then my front-runner for the heismann went down, and the highly regarded backup Jarrett Brown came in. I thought Jarrett would do fine and WV would win, but he looked absolutely horrendous. Combine that with Slaton's no-show, and you have the worst offensive game for WV since 2003, when WV got destroyed in their bowl game by #24 Maryland, 41-7.
