I dont believe it, WV was the team to beat for me. That rushing attack was unstopable. But Pitt played great. Missouri is losing to OU Late so what teams are in the championship game. I say Ohio State, with that defense they desrve it, i guess. Lsu to me, is still the best team in the country so they are my pick for the championship.

Yeah, if this year has shown one thing it is that there is no 'consensus #1' in the NCAA anymore. Parody has taken over in College football as well, but for some reason, a handful of morons at the top won't let things change. 8 game playoff is exactly what the BCS needs to be replaced with. Any one of the top 8 teams this season could be contenders for the National Championship. It's time for a change, and if this season hasn't proved that much, nothing will. I want it changed for 2008. No later. It's not hard. You change to an 8 team (16 game) Bowl Series Playoff system, and you keep all the major bowl games at the ass-end of the playoffs. It's also a great new way to add about 10-bjillion dollars in endorsements to the NCAA by making things like the "GMAC bowl" one where you could potentially see #2 and #7 ranked teams play. But enough of that for now...

I think there's no teams out there who deserve the National Championship this year. I think it should definitely be a 'share' year, and I think the first share has to go to the winner of Ohio State vs. LSU. The second share needs to go to the winner of Georgia vs. USC. Even then we're still leaving out some darn good football teams from the mix. Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, all deserve to be able to contend for the N.C. this year.

On a sidenote, Chase Daniel didn't perform up to snuff this week, so I believe Tebow is the only actual candidate for the Heisman Trophy.

LOL even if we didnt win our division so what we outlasted everyone else, we didnt slip up in the last few games of the season like all these other chump teams. We are the most improved team down the stretch of the season and we found a great player in Knowshon to carry the load and it made a significant difference. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!

USC is the hottest team in the nation. No1 wants to play them. Usc should have been playing in the champoinship if not for all those injuries. They lost both games because John David Booty was out on both games. Sanchez did an okjob but nothing as much as Booty could do. They would have won at least 1 of those games with Booty. they lost both games by 1 possesion each. Usc is in the top 3 in talent and when they perform good they perform great compared to other teams. Add that with Coach Carolls ability to win most of their big games they are almost unstopable. Gergia is good but no way would they beat Usc in the Rose Bowl if both played. add that with Trojans home field advantage in the Rose Bowl.

WVU was my pre-season pick to win the BCS, OOOPS! And Woodson was my preseason Heisman pick-OUCH!! . I have always said the bowls and playoffs could peacefully co-exist. There are many non BCS-affiliated bowls they would remain essentally the same with 1 esception and the major conference winners plus 1 at large face one of the teams from the BCS-affiliated bowls that are highest rated and get in via a 'play-in' game at say the Holiday Bowl the major bowls Orange, Sugar, Fiesta, and Rose determine the team that faces the #1 team which has a bye. If all schools begin the season the week before Labor day and the regular season was dropped back to 11 games it could all be done by the time it is now if not sooner, IMHO.

USC is so overrated. And you think they are hot right now why? Because they beat a couple of sorry Pac-10 teams? UCLA? That was a big win? They lost to NOTRE DAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So go play for your roses and just know if the Pac-10 Champ didn't have an automatic bid in to a BCS game you would be kicking back playing in a Toilet Bowl with UCLA! Enjoy it! So you don't believe USC could have won the Big East or Big 10 this year? I agree that they or overrated but team by team the Pac 10 stacks up pretty well against the Big 10 which I believe is the most overrated BCS conference and I am not sure any Big East Team would win the Pac 10 this year, just my opinion. As you know every team got exposed once or twice this year, if this was done by playoff regions they'd face Hawi'i to take the West. I think if you ask many in and around the game you'd be suprised how many think USC would win if there were a playoff. I still think LSU might win it if there were. USC will be better next year, playing so many reserves this year created a great deal of depth. WVU will be good next year UGA will be battling with UF in the east and LSU and Auburn in the West, but watch out for MSU, Croom is a very good coach and the talent is slowly tricking his way. Out west UW will have the Pacific Tebow growing into being an allround QB, other teams that might pop up in 2009 the Pirates of ECU may get 8/9 wins, UCF might be better than USF next year, 2 Osu's Oregon State and Oklahoma State might might chalenge for 9 win seasons and Stanford will knock of at least 1 ranked team again.
