Game Notes
Matt Austin 68 6' 4.4" 288 5.25 OT 2008:
Played center in this game. Turned the DT several times and gets movement. Opened a great deal of holes. Stayed engaged to his blockers. Grade: Positive
Brad Listorti 82 6' 3.2" 245 4.77 TE 2008:
Saw his first action since having back surgery. Only played a snap or two but caught a 3yd. TD in the 4th quarter. Grade: INC.
Matt Lawrence 32 6' 0.5" 210 4.61 HB 2008:
Nice stride in the open field. Good cuts and winds through traffic. Patient back who fights for yards. Had 24 carries for 112 yards. Definitely has the skills to go to an NFL camp and who could probably make a practice squad at the least. He had one reception for 6 yards. His future could depend upon his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Grade: Positive

Nick Hill 15 6'3.0" 210 4.75E QB 2008
Hill continues to impress in all areas. He has a plus arm and can make all the throws. Agile and can scramble to gain yards. A leader of the offense who does whatever it takes to get the first down or make the play. Had beautiful touch on a nice drop pass down the middle to beat Cover 2. Had an INT on a fade pattern that he underthrew. Finished the night 13/23 for 216 yards 3TDs and the INT. Can make the deep out throw. Lefthanded. The type of QB who is a lot like Tony Romo and would benefit if he gets a chance to learn and develop. Grade: Positive
Craig Turner 2 5'10.0" 195 4.45E CB 2008
Had a 42 yard KOR and a 50 yard KOR. Had a nice PBU negated by a penalty on a teammate. A very good return man who also returns punts. Got beat a few times by Rasheed Rancher, but looks to be the type who could be your 4th corner and do all of your returns. Grade: Slightly Positive
Darren Marquez 77 6'5.0" 315 OT 2008
Plays LT in the SIU system. Able to slide his feet and pick up the rusher. Sealed the corner on several instances. Good punch. Needs to anchor a bit better. He should get an invite to a camp. Grade: Positive
Game Notes: Rasheed Rancher WR UMASS 2008 is 6-5 and showed an excellent burst and explosion as he had 5 receptions for 143 yards and a TD. With his measurables he should end up in a camp. He dropped one ball. Has a build similar to Randy Moss , but obviously not the skills.... SIU Punter Scott Ravanesi had an 84 yard punt that netted 64 yards. He's a sophmore....Coach Jerry Kill SIU is being mentioned as a possible HC at Colorado State.
