Well now look what happened to the great Tebow when he played against a good team now how are people going to spin this to make it not his fault and keep in mind that floridas defense forced four turnovers. I told people harvin was the best player and look what he did over 200 yards of offense. so lets hear it Fat Mike GGI go ahead explain this one
gpngc
LOL.
FatMike58
Sorry Bro, never hyped Tebow. All I said was he was the best player in the best conference, and he was.

Michigan good team lmao, they won that one for Carr. 9 out of 10 times UF smokes them.

Every team in the SEC is good. Tebow did great vs everyone. Yes that means I think he did great vs UM, 4 total tds no to's.

Ole Miss is very bad, and I'm skeptocal of both Sout Carolina and Alabama. But it is the deepest division in college football.

I'll only give you Ole Miss laugh.gif both SC and Bama would clean house in the Big East and Big 10 and I'd say they would finish about the same in the Pac10.

no you said he was the best player in college football. Percy Harvin showed who was the best Gator and Henne showed who was the best QB

They would not even touch OSU and Michigan. Also, Wisconsin would handle both of them and probably Illinois too.
FatMike58
If that wasn't Carr's last game, UM would not have beaten UF...but it was...and they did. SC's passing would kill every single team in the Big 10.

If in SEC

Ohio State 9-4
Michigan 8-5
Wisconsin 8-5
Illinois 6-7

If in Big 10
SoCarolina 10-3
Ole Miss 6-7
Bama 9-4

How do you know those would be each team records? What 6 teams would Ole Miss. The only one's I can think of are: Northwestern and maybe Iowa. Throw in Minnesota too.
thasavage1
So you still think tebow is the best even after what pat white just did to the second hottest team in the country?
packfan36450
The best is still Tebow then White and close behind is Dixon.

I'll admit Tebow had the most outstanding season, but he is not the best player he coudn't even take over a game and hasn't in all the big games this year. last time the gators lost four games they switched coaches.

3 cupcakes and those 3 teams...thats 6 teams. Ole Miss has a TON of talent, Orgeron was just REALLY bad.

Oh well I didn't know you were counting out of conference games too. But Ole Miss would not do that good in the Big Ten.
FatMike58
They would make a bowl game.
packfan36450
You just said they would be 6-7. They would not be bowl eligible.
RedRaider80
you can play in a bowl at 6-6. if you lose then your at 6-7 and still made a bowl. im pretty sure this was the case for multiple teams this year

Lol, come on now. U can't say that Ole Miss would have the same record as Illinois. I thick SC, Alabama, Ole Miss, and Wisconsin would have worse records. I also think that Ohio State and Illinois would have better records.

what is this arguement about?

GO SEC. Tell one of your Big 10 teams to come see Georgia. YA BOY

Booty was out on the Oregon game. So were many other starters inboth games. With all their starters back every1 has seen what they can do. Beat you down by 32 points. I also want to know who had Illi even standing a chancevs the men in red?

We lost to Oregon bcuz Oregon had Dixon at the time. Oregon was on fire at that point, only losing one game all year at that point. It was also at Oregon, which is one of the hardest places to play. Stanford was a fluke. But we did have many injuries at that time. Booty was partly injured as well as a bunch of defensive players. Booty should've been replaced by Sanchez, but I can't complain about Carroll. He's done a great job.

GEORGIA IS NOT THAT GOOD!! Knowshon Moreno is a monster but that's it. USC, LSU, Ohio State, Oregon, with Dennis Dixon healthy, West Virginia, Kansas, and Oklahoma would all beat the Bulldogs.

Oh no complaints..

Just commenting on what the otehr guy said.

he has done a great job. Most top teams had hard loss or 2 this year, weird year.

I hate Stanford now. They cost us the chance to go to the championship game, where we would've beaten the overrated Buckeyes.

U r right about one thing. Georgia doesn't have as much talent as some of the other top schools such as USC, Oklahoma, or LSU, as they have no players projected to go on day 1. But they play well as a team, and Richt is a pretty good head coach. And they're really hot right now.

USC would definitely beat UGA right now. USC is playing better than anyone else. LSU-UGA would be a very good game, but I think LSU would win a close one. Ohio State? I'd call that one a draw where each team would win 5 if they played 10. Oregon, West Virginia, Kansas, and Oklahoma would have no shot at beating UGA right now.

Hmm... all this conversation leads me to believe that we need a playoff system in FBS.

And, as for Tebow... he's very good. But... he's playing in a system that is perfectly suited for him (helps his stats some) and is surrounded by the best talent (maybe outside of Los Angeles) on any team in the country. I think people look at his numbers and see the Heisman and think he's immortal or something. Remember the huge numbers guys like BJ Symons (5800+ yards and 52 TDs for Texas Tech in 2003) or Jason White tossing 40 TDs for Oklahoma and winning the Heisman that same year? What are they doing now? Of course I think Tebow has an NFL future ahead of him. He's only just completed his sophomore year and can still improve. But he's far from the best QB in college football right now. He just has some of the better stats at the position.

I'd love this. There'd be more hype over a playoff than for the Final Four. Every sports fan in the country, and every alumni of each scool left, and a bunch of other random people would all watch.
