yeah i think wannstedt has all the tools and the big east looks to be shaky so if they build off their wvu victory they could make some noise. michigan i just don't see doing it under rodriguez not in the first year its tough for any team to totally change a scheme most of the michigan lineman are maulers i don't think they'll adept to the spread offense and don't even mention michigan running a
3-3-5. Colt McCoy i think benefited from being on a highly talented team whith sweed and jamal charles gone i think he gets exposed

yeah illinois does have serious bust potential also arrellious benn has not impressed me at all just from a hype stand point especially compared to a percy harvin or desean jackson i thought he was supposed to be this awesome can't miss player but all i saw was a guy with good not great speed and average hands

Arrelious Benn is definitely legit. He's not a blazer like Harvin or Jackson. He's much bigger than both and a very physical player. I think he was playing hurt most of the season. I know he had surgery planned for after the Rose Bowl.

I just think Illinois is going to suffer a bit with the loss of Rashard Mendenhall on offense and J Leman on defense. Those players were a big part of the Illini identity this past year.

Benn isn't just legit, he's a total stud. Huge playmaker who catches everything, and also is a tough gritty leader, o and by the way, he's only a freshman! Thatbeing said though, Illinois will not repeat its cinderella success next season. They lose Leman and Mendanhall, and also they no longer can just surprise teams as they did this year. They'll lose at least 3-4 Big-10 games next year.

Ohio State will win the Big-10 with Wisconsin closely behind next season.

so your saying he is more in the terrell owens mold, i guess i was expecting him to be more of a burner slasher kind of player. he should have went to SC any how wink.gif
