Team Needs 2008
DE - With Trevor Pryce struggling through injury last season and Terrell Suggs up for free agency this looks to be our biggest need.
QB - Troy Smith showed some potential in the two games he started, but he may be the only QB on the roster come 2008.
CB - Both Rolle and McAllister ended the year on IR and are over 30, so now could be a good time to find their successors in the Ravens' secondary.
OG - If Jonathan Ogden retires Jared Gaither is ready to come in and replace him. Adam Terry is still going strong and moving Marshal Yanda to tackle for depth will mean we need to bring in some depth guards.
ILB - Another position on this Ravens defense where the incumbent starter is aging and bringing in young blood would be a good idea.

Removed from list -

WR - Demetrius Williams and Devard Darling are on the rise, Derrick Mason is still the best route runner in the league, and Mark Clayton should come into his own when he gets someone who can actually throw him the ball. Receiver is not a need this season.

OLB - After drafting Barnes and Burgess last season and with plenty of depth linebackers, this is really a need either...especially if we move back to the 4-3.

OT - Depth at guard is defintely a bigger need than tackle even if Ogden retires.

Draft Results 2008
coming soon.

4 (137) - Le’Ron McClain, FB, Alabama

Whered you get this depth chart LOL, theres a few mistakes

Of course there are mistakes it's the offseason. There is no such thing as a correct depth chart in February unless your in the Super Bowl. Half of these players won't even be on the team come 2008, we are just letting you know where they might stand.

Because they are just temporary pages until our programmer can get the real pages up and running. If you want to talk about the needs of a team, start your own thread in the team forum...

just did

I certainly hope the talk about the Ravens making a deal for Donovan McNabb are just that. I would hope they learned their lesson when they got McNair...just an old, injury prone QB. Still good, if he can stay healthy...but old and injury prone. Unless they're giving up like a single 5-7 rounder, I wouldn't like that deal if I were a Ravens fan.

I totally agree....except McNair did get us to the playoffs and a 13-3 record...not much to show for it now however.

Ive heard talks of giving up pick 8 in some kind of deal for McNabb....I seriously doubt Ozzie Newsome will even consider that. I'd much rather just take Matt Ryan at 8 and hopefully have a good franchise qb for the next 10-12 years!

And Derek Anderson? No thanks. How embarrassing would that be? And I know he did great with the Browns but I could see him coming back to Baltimore and being just another bust.
