Game report coming soon.....

There are some good players in this game.

Thiry is from Northwestern(Big 10), not Northwestern State. I can't believe they make typos in some of these games.

Baldwin is a nice 4-3 rush end. Warrick is the brother of Peter Warrick.

Will we ever see anything out of Lance Leggett?

I've always like Alley Broussard..

Omon can play!

I'm excited to see Flynn play in a post season game, did he end up actually playing in this one?

Antonio Reynolds could be a nice DL at the next level.

Kinlaw and Haugabook are really intriguing as well.

Haugabook had one bounce right off his hands and go for a pick if I remember correctly. The first half of this game is painful to watch. All kinds of penalties and just bad play. Didn't Broussard go to LSU? What was his transfer reason again?

There are at least 10-12 draftable guys in this game, some who may even sneak into the 4-5th round area.

Maine's 6'5", 259-pound TE Matthew Mulligan (who never even played HS football) is one who stood out. I am reviewing film today and tomorrow, and I will try to get a full report up by Thursday.

Mulligan did catch my eye. I just meant from a good team football standpoint and watching a game from a flow standpoint it was painful. There are definitely some good prospects in the game. I deleted it from my TIvo as soon as it was over because I just couldn't sit down and watch it again. LOL

Yes, he was initially at LSU. From what I remember, he said he was just going to "walk away" from football because it didn't interest him anymore. I think he probably wasn't getting the playing time he wanted so he transfered to a smaller school. At one time, he was a star in the making...

OK...Here are my game rankings (without the O-lines). Several players in this game are in the draftable category, including: Antwaun Molden, a 6'2", 201-pound CB from Eastern Kentucky; Rudolph Hardie, a 6'3", 270-pound DE from Howard who STICKS people; Marcus Dixon, a 6'4", 285 legit 3-4 DE from Hampton; Steven Octavien, a 6'0", 241-pound LB from Nebraska; Vince Redd, a 6'5", 260-pound DE from Liberty; Corey Lynch, a 6'0", 206-pound safety from App. State who is an absolute ball hawk; Darrell Blackman, a kick returner extraordinaire from NC State; Marquis Carpenter, 6'0", 180 pound CB from Texas A&M; Rodrick Johnson, a 6'3", 250-pound LB from Oklahoma State; Robert Killibrew, a 6'3", 235-pound LB from U of Texas; and, of course a guy who is making a case for best punter in the draft--NDSU's Mike Dragosavich.

STRICK-9
How did Brousard look. He was rated fairly high when he began his career at LSU...still, he's a big back and I can see Pittsburgh taking a gamble in Round 5, 6 or 7
PatriotofMaine
He looked OK. The physical gifts have never been in doubt with Broussard. It has always been a head/heart problem.

He also celebrated in the end zone like Chad Johnson--on an average run yard run for a score.

I wouldn't spend a draft pick on him, unless it was late 7th, and all my other "project" guys were gone.
