The top QB is down to four choices:
Ohio State
Michigan
Penn State
Oregon
He has until April 1st but will most likely choose before then.

he knocked out Orgeon. Its really between OSU and Michigan IMO. PSU isnt a powerhouse anymore. He could possibly be a 4 year starter at Michigan. He would fit perfect in Rodriguez's system

Funny thing is he never considered UNC, which has experiece vis-a-vis Curry with QB/Hoopsters, and he'd play right away, I know they're rebuilding but Butch Davis will make them an ACC contender sooner rather than later and he has a strong NFL backround.

According to what I've read the top two are Ohio State and Michigan, his father wants him to go to Penn State, and he did not dismiss Oregon when asked about it. Oregon is not probable, but stranger things have happened.

Has anyone noticed that Pryor has a HUGE ego, he has been playing games for the last few weeks, I think he goes to OSU because UM's B-ball team sucks.

A HUGE EGO and a SLOW motion, he makes Leftwich look like Joe Willie Namath! He might be best as an OLB, IMHO.

yeah i guess he said it a litle while ago. these kids have got to realize that distance shouldn't be a major factor especially if they plan on playing professionally. you never here of someone turning down a contract because the team is too far. plus distance can be good you can't tell me that all of miami's problems don't stem from those kids staying to close to home

That's a large part of how Rutgers got better... they started recruiting heavily in Southern Florida (Miami territory) and upstate NY (Syracuse territory).

Not this year, 3 of the top 10 HS Football teams in the Nation are from Florida, no other state can say that and if you look at the top 100-200 players, Florida has the most.

they have some good teams florida has produced two of the best i have seen this years northwestern team is amazing something like 5 top 150 recruits. then in 2002 i went to the state championship at the doak and lincoln(tallahassee) played st thomas aquinas which had a ridicolous winning streak and don shulas grandson at QB. Lincoln ran and option with gavin dickey at qb they also had antonio cromartie pat watkins ryan gilliam fred rouse was a frosh and they just lost craphonso thorpe. but texas football is life out there the midland lee team that ced benson play on went undefeated for like four years which is amazing considering the talent level. in cali we have de la salle which in 2000 had a helluva team with like 5 future nfl players. but in cali like in florida we don't live eat and breath high school football like they do in texas except in smaller towns.

You should have seen the game with St. Thomas Aquinas vs. Lakeland...it was the 4A(or 5A) Championship game and went to like 4 OTs and was like 51-50 at the end with Lakeland and Chris Rainey who ran for 400 yards winning...both teams had like 4 top 150 players and each had 3 or 4 players going to UF.

Friday Night Lights was a popular book before being a movie made by hollywood, so I wouldn't quite say hollywood made(or at least wrote) a movie about Texas High School football.
As a former California hs football player(for a CIF Northern Section runner up team I might add), I have to give it to Texas. CA and FL are both really close behind however. California probably has the most overall talent(sheer numbers), but doesn't have the same amount of unbelievable teams or the intense passion.

This year California does not have the most overall talent, in the ESPN 150: Florida has 30 players and California has 11.

I could care less where the egomaniac goes. He can claim he just needs time to make a decision, but everyone knows he's just milking this for attention.
The really funny thing is how when all the talk was of him going to michigan, the Michigan fans were going apeshit calling him the greatest prospect ever. Then when he didn't commit and the rumors were that he was going to OSU or Penn State, the same Michigan fans said that he's not that good and we'll do just fine with anyone else at QB because Rich Rod can make his offense work with a 2-star prospect just like he did ONCE with Pat White. I <3 rabid college football fans.
