No trades. I think people who include trades in there mock drafts are thinking to ahead.

1st Round-Jake Long-OT
I think that the Phins will take Chris long so instead of picking Glen dorsey i decided to go with Jake. If you asked me a week ago i would of said that he was a bust waiting to happen. But he impressed me at the combine and now i think that he deserves to go 2nd. He will back up Pace in his first year and move into the LT slot next year. This would be the smartest pick for the rams.

2nd Round- Quentin Groves-DE/OLB

This pick gives the Rams a great Pass Rusher. He could move into the SLB spot that will be left by Brandon Chiller. I think that the rams greatest need is a pass rusher to play on the outside. He would be a start but he would need to be pared with another DE. He would be thrown into the DE mix with Little and Hall. He would Start in a few years.

3rd-Dexter Jackson-WR

This man is beast, he has said that the rams have been looking at him. He says that he enjoys playing Slot and i have no doubt that he could make a hugh mark on the Rams Offense. He will make the team as a returner then develope into a reciever. Then we can realese Dante Hall. smile.gif

4th-Jamar Adams-SS

He hits like a linebacker, he plays with a moter. This guy can play. He will back up Chavious and maybe be his replacement in a few years.

5th- Jeremy Zuttah-Ot/OG

One of our many downfalls last year was our lack of Oline depth that resulted in signing a bunch of washed up OTs. Zuttah had a very impressive combine. Will be a backup Tackle or Guard.

6th-Steve Slaton-RB
As mutch as i hate him. He will be a prodject and could break out. Will be a Practice Squad player who could break into the team later

6th(that we got for Fitz)-Josh Johnson-QB
He had a bad combine but his upside is to hard to ignore. Will be 3rd string.

No seventh (traded for Adam Goldberg)

Sorry I don't like this pick...Robert Gallery had the same weaknesses(lack of agility and speed for pass rushers) coming into the combine but had a great combine which made people think may be those weaknesses weren't true but what happened to Gallery? He was a bust because he could not handle the speed rushers at LT...I think Long is just like him.

I dont think that there was a better option for this pick. Gholston maybe

One of Gallery's problems is short arms. That's why the speed gets by him so easily.

Slaton will likely drop but will likely be gone by the mid 4th, Groves also might go at the tail end of round 1, the others will be there when you pick, I like Jackson but this selection might be a little bit of a reach. wink.gif

I noticed last year that alot of WR's were drafted in the early third, some of them were reaches. That was my thinking for the pick but i see what you mean.
