The Texans have gotten off to a good start by re-signing WR Andre Davis and ensuring that as a strength for team for at least next season but likely a few years to come.

The Texans are also reportedly interested in FA Center Rex Hadnot. That would be a good signing if they can pull that off.

Jacque Reeves CB that spent the last few years in Dallas was signed today. they need to get a good vet on the OL.

The Texans have also signed Kevin Bently LB. He will be a a great addition to ST and will replace Charlie Anderson in that role. 3 yr 4mil contract. He might battle for a starting job on the outside but even if he doesnt he is cheap.

I see Chris Brown is your latest addition, BigBrew...that probably solidifies the Texans going CB in the 1st, with an outside chance it'll be OT no matter which RB might be there, IMO.

I think they go OT unless Dunta is not going to be ready, Fred Bennett stepped up and played very well last year so him and Dunta would be a very good combo.

Robinson will not likely play until about half the season is over...if then. CB is a huge need. However, if there's a OLT they like better than the CBs left on the board they could go that way, and hit CB in round 2 with the depth there.

Robinson was placed on the PUP list already a week ago or so I believe. Is it his knee?

Yeah, it is his knee. He is bound and determined to be back wk 7. I read an article in the Houston Chronicle that said as much. I hope its true, because having him on the field makes a huge difference in the way the defense plays.

On a side note the Texans signed Chris Brown to a 2 year deal but in no way do I think this detracts from the Texans taking a RB by the 3rd or 4th round in the draft.

This is likely old news. Bryant Johnson signed a 1 year deal with San Fran.

The Texans traded their 6th round pick in this years draft in a sign and trade with Denver for Center Chris Meyers. Here are the details but basically we just traded for our starting C. I love this deal.

Looks like the Texans are all but ready to ink Quinn Gray. Which begs the question, what are the Texans' fans thoughts on current starter Matt Schaub?

We like Schaub just fine. This has far more to do with Rosenfels than it does Schaub. The plan is to trade Rosenfels for a 3rd most likely, since Minnesota already made that offer and the Texans turned them down.

Or the Texans FO is telling the truth about wanting 3 QB's on the roster since Gray just signed for 600k and only 40k signing bonus(Vet Min) There is some concern about Schaub being durable enough but I think he will be fine.
