More bad news for Ravens fans:

Apparently a visit has been scheduled to meet with former Lousiville QB Brian Brohm.......

I'm guessing this is more along the lines of if he falls to Bmore in round 2.....but you never know with a new HC in town....

I think this guy has Kyle Boller written all over him, all the physical qualities you want in a QB, but that just isn't enough to be a successful QB ina struggling offense.

IMO, Matt Ryan is the perfect Raven's qb......has the physical qualities, smart player, and tries to make big plays regardless of the outcome. With our defense it doesn't hurt to take a risk every once in awhile, and that's what Ryan does. He's the spark we need on offense and is better spoken and has better leadership qualities than Brohm.

Brohm sucks.... I crap my pants in laughter if the Ravens picked him.

lol, if I were Ozzie Newsome I would trade up into the late 1st and take Flacco, they need QB so bad, I wouldn't be happy with that since I'm a Browns fan and I think Flacco will be a good NFL QB, but I see a ton of poetential in Flacco and I'm honestly more impressed with him then Matt Ryan.

Why not trade down and get him later? Brohm is worth a mid to late 1st rounder.

That would work out better, but I don't even want him as a Raven all together. We've never been successful at taking QB's (or receivers) in round one... (Chris Redman, Kyle Boller, Travis Taylor, Mark Clayton)....and Brohm scares me way to much to touch him in round one. I don;t think he'd be able to do anything different then Boller has done.

Why is everyone so down on him? He's had a few injuries here and there, but cmon, he deserves more respect than this. That was one of the worst defenses in college football history. You cannot hold him accountable for thier losses. Not to mention his coach bolting.

I think he can be Peyton Manning-like if he gets in the right system. He is not a "system QB", he is an NFL style QB. If he went to Michigan, we would be talking about him as the number 1 overall pick.

IF anything, he got better this season, dealing with adversity, which he will have tons of at the next level.

He hasn't really done anything to help his stock...at all. Lousiville was hyped up as one of the top teams last year and disapointed, naturally the QB receives most of the blame. He didn't bother to show up at the Senior, QB challenge, didn't wow any one at the combine.

Aside from all that, he just reminds me too much of past QB's drafted high that have been busts. As for the Peyton Manning comment, that's a VERY bold statement....and Chad Henne started all 4 years at Mich and no one's saying he'll go number one....I don't think that would be the case for Brohm either. Louisville is a respectable enough program and there's been plenty of QB's that have come from far worse programs that have been projected and taken number one.
