So what do we do?
Here's my big board:
1. Kenny Phillips S (Miami)
2. Chris Williams OT (Vandy)
3. Jeff Otah OT Pittsburgh)
4. Limas Sweed WR (Texas)
5. Malcom Kelly WR (Oklahoma)
What do you guys think? Add Branden Albert to the list?

If I had to guess I would say Phillips and Sweed would be the only guys left, and thats not even a given.

Yeah Otah and Williams will likely be gone, but Kelly? No way. Who would take him before 19?

I'd take Kelly before Sweed (personal preference). But let's be realistic... the Eagles won't draft a WR that early. The rookies rarely see significant playing time for the Eagles anyway.
I think they'll take the best available OT or CB with pick 19 if they stay put (which they might not).

I think you're right, jwest. The more I look at your OT situation, and the more I think about it, if there is an OT there, that's their pick. The WRs in this draft are not elite. Perhaps one or two will emerge, but there isn't one of them that stand out and "grab" your attention over the other. You're just as likely to hit pay dirt with a WR in rounds 2-5, as you are in round 1. The CB crop is deep too, but I personally see a large drop off in "ready to play now" OL after the first 8 or so. I doubt one of those will be there when you draft again in the 2nd.

jwest. Have you noticed how often Kenny Phillips is being mentioned with that 19th pick? I know they could use a S, but am I missing something here? One thing I've been wondering is do you see the Eagles moving up or down in this draft? Since 2003, they've moved up twice, and back once, last year. They also have 11 picks in this draft, and a high caliber CB to deal too. So, who are they really targeting? And how far up, and what do you see them giving up to get this player, because I personally don't see them trading back again. IMO, the Eagles are primed, locked, and loaded to be a major player in this draft, and depending on how high they move up, they could be causing sudden problems and scrambling around as the chips start falling for teams that draft after the position they trade up to, if I'm reading them right. The only other scenario that might make some sense is going after Johnson with Sheppard and some draft picks as bait. What's your feel, or what have you heard concerning any of this?
Thanks,
Mark

word on wat i heard last was that they are looking at OT for the 19th pick or an OG possibly to becuase Andrews could move over and play OT if needed. My perfect player i think in the first round for them to get would be OT Chris Williams. Dont know if he will be there then but if they do trade up by giving up Lito Sheppard I think he will be there then. If not him then I like OT Jeff Otah for them.

That's something that's been known or suspected for awhile now...what I'm wondering is, are they setting up something bigger, like a move into the top 5 or 10 using Sheppard, their 1st, and some of the other picks they have.
