So... what is the biggest off-season story?
For me, as the SEC guy here, there are a couple -- both involving QBs.
#1 - Who will be LSU's QB? Ryan Perrilloux is clearly the most talented QB on the roster (and one of the most talented in college football), but he's recently been suspended by the team for the THIRD time in the past year. Can he get his act together or will the job go to Harvard transfer (yes, Harvard) Andrew Hatch?
#2 - Will the NCAA grant a transfer-rule exception to Ryan Mallett and let him play immediately at Arkansas? He left Michigan when Rich Rodriguez was hired and wants to play this fall for Division 1-A Arkansas without having to sit out a year. Honestly, I can't see the NCAA granting him an exception as it would open the door to too many requests because of the always-changing coaching carousel in division 1 football.
What are the biggest off-season stories for the rest of you?
