Apparently he injured his knee in practice. The severity of the injury is not yet known, although indications are that it's serious. Lee is already discussing a medical redshirt in 2008-2009.

He's not quite as good as Poz or Connor, but he was going to be a top OLB in next years draft. LB will be strong next year, so maybe it's good he takes a year off.

Yea it might be good for him in the long run IF he recovers well from the acl tear n sometimes that doesnt happen plus it just sucks having your knee torn n missin time n watchin others play when u wanna be out there i feel for him knowing how hes feeling ive torn my knee three times

He was still voted as a team captain despite the injury. Shows that the team respects him as a leader and maybe he'll develop an additional level of maturity (not that he was immature) this year when he can't play.
