I have first hand news of this. The Pats contacted WIllie Copeland today and asked where they can contact him on draft weekend. Obviously as of today Copeland is a 7th round or High Priority Free Agent, but it is interesting to note that the 2 teams most interested in him have been the two teams playing in the last Super Bowl.
His stock has risen on the boards so far, who knows what the next 10 days will be like!

FYI, the Patriots called Willie Copeland twice saying that they were interested in signing him at the conclusion of the draft as an UDFA. He was called today by the Dolphins who said that they were interested in drafting him in the 7th round.
Long time away and lots of things can happen but they must be thinking of getting rid of at least one current QB. Who is there backup anyway? LOL
