The point is that I wouldn't trade a box of cracker jacks to go up and get Chad Henne. I'd rather have Colt Brennan or Andre Woodson in the 6th/7th round than get Chad Henne and a 4th round pick from Dallas.

Why are they so interested in Henne? Why not Flacco or Brohm? I really don't think this will happen, the trade could but not so sure about the Henne part.

Yeah, moving Roy Williams is a mistake on the Lions' part, and I wouldn't do it for anything less than a top 20 pick. Now, if the Lions can land Mendenhall and Mayo or Chris Williams for trading Roy Williams, then I'm onboard. But not for Henne.

Suggs might be a piece to move up with 8 for number 2 for Ryan due to SUggs might be a FA after this year if not resigned

Mendenhall would be just as much of a waste of a draft pick.

Kevin Jones was more talented coming out of college than Mendenhall is, and Jones couldn't get anything going with the Lions. The only consistent in the Lions terribleness over the last six seasons is the offensive line, and no matter who they have back there, they're going to do bad. If the Lions take Mendenhall over Talib, Rodgers-Cromartie, Branden Albert, Chris Williams, Ryan Clady, etc. I'll be livid.

Probably because it's not a big issue, but someone leaked it to get him to fall.

It hasn't affected him then at all really. Still doubt he falls below the 1st half of 1st round.
