I've been introduced by others already, but please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Erik Sandelin, and I am a new member of the CDS staff. I will be covering the Gateway Conference, Conference USA, and teaming with Jeff West to cover the NAIA.
My interest in the Draft dates back to 1993, and I have watched the draft, either on ESPN, the NFL Network, or live in New York City every year since then. From 1995 to 1998 I wrote for a small, now-defunct publication called "The Stadium Guide to Football" with Adam Bendiksen. I attended the Draft all four of those years, three of them as a member of the press. My favorite team is the Atlanta Falcons, though living in either Maine or New Hampshire all my life means I also root for the Patriots, and being a friend of Bendo's all these years means I also keep my eye on the Broncos.
If anybody is interested, I also try to maintain two other football-related sites - zoneblitz.wordpress.com and www.sportingnews.com/blog/Dainan, the former being primarily draft related and the latter focusing on the Falcons. I also have a person website, nhfalcon.wordpress.com, if you feel like talking about stuff other than football.

Welcome again NHFalcon! I've been to NH many times back in the day. What city are you close to?
I covered the Gateway last year and if you would like a list of guys I was planning on putting in let me know. It's a pretty easy conference as there are only a half dozen or so regular season games broadcast. However, you want to try and catch or tape each one. They have a really good website that if you sign up for they send you updates and they have a message board. I'll post a link in a minute or two.

Erik, nice to return the favor. Once you get to Brunswick we'll obviously be watching some ball. Despite living here for fifteen years I now loathe the Pats, partly because I get sick of dynasties but mostly because of Tom Brady's 8-month rant following his first playoff loss. He didn't shut up until we beat them again the following season. There's no whining in Football.
