Adam...From having a big question mark at the RB position, I think with Johnson's signing, and the pick up off waivers of Marcus Thomas from the Chargers, your RB situation is now second only to the Vikings in your division. You're going to love the kid Thomas...he's very good between the tackles, and has some wiggle to him...real good hands out of the backfield too. He had a really good camp and preseason. The Chargers tried to sneak him through due to a numbers game, and it didn't work out.

Yeah, I went and found streamed video of Marcus Thomas online. I'm looking forward to the watching the run game bruise this year. With Rudi, Smith, and Thomas, we have over 600lbs. of bowling-ball like running backs. Exactly what I was hoping for (as you may recall, I was pulling for the Lions to grab Mendenhall).

I really don't think Mendenhall would have fit for you. He does not have the wiggle that Thomas has, nor does he run behind his pads like Thomas. That's why he's fumbling all over the place right now. Without a wiggle to make people miss, nor the speed to consistently get outside like Stewart, he would have caused Millen to put a bomb shelter (who remembers those besides me?) in his back yard had he drafted him. He's a better fit, should he solve the fumbling problem in Pittsburgh, where his plodding style is better suited to the natural elements, and their terrible field.
