Wow, I cannot wait until this game is played. Does anyone else have a feeling the winner of this game will be going to the NC? I think the best matchup in the game could be A.J. Green vs. Will Hill. Hill is the only Florida DB that matches up to Green, that would be really interesting to see 2 top 10 rated True Freshman going at it! I can't wait to see this game. I think UF can definitely win this one and I also believe firmly that Urban Meyer has really been holding out the first 3 games with his playbook. They have been too conservative and they really haven't done many trick plays or deep passes. I think that he is holding out for the UGA and LSU games to not give them much to scout. Still it should be awesome seeing Tebow and Stafford going at it against 2 top rated defenses. Anyone else think Carlos Dunlap is going to be a top 10 pick? I think he is really similar to Mario Williams in terms of size and athleticism. It should also be a good game to watch for LBs...I think that Ellerbee and Curran for UGA will be 1st-3rd rounders and Spikes and Doe for UF will be in that same range!

itll be a good game but the NC is going to be USC Oklahoma IMO. I don't think Hill is any match for green, but that could be said for most of the country. green is only going to get better which is scary.dunlap is like a tank with a jet engine and spikes is a beast. I like Georgia to win though, i think stafford green and moreno are just to much for UF to deal with plus florida's offense didn't blow me away against a highly overrated UT team.

You'd be surprised about Will Hill. Coming out of HS he was a higher rated prospect then Green, Hill is 6'3 and Green is 6'4...I believe Hill also runs a faster 40. Both are superb athletes. Although Hill is more of a FS but I still think it would be an interesting matchup. Florida's offense played very conservative against Tennessee to give away nothing. They went up 17-0 so fast so they had no reason to try deep passes and trick plays. Their defense is much improved and has looked amazing to me.

How would you rank the SEC teams right now?

I've been underwhelmed with Georgia so far and I think Alabama could shake some things up

I think Bama is going to outdue LSU and Auburn and come away with the West. The East is wayy too good now. UGA, FLA, Vandy, Kentucky, SC and Tenn. They'll proboly beat themselves all up and the winner of the East will have 2 loses on their records I believe. Bama vs Fla now, with Bama pulling the upset ohmy.gif

Overall I'd rank it:
1. UF
2. UGA
3. Bama
4. LSU
5. Auburn
6. Vandy
7. SC
8. Tennessee
9. Ole Miss
10/11/12 Mississippi State/Arkansas/Kentucky(kind of lumped together)

Right now UF's defense looks to be great and Meyer has played very conservatively on offense. UGA has a strong run game with a good passing attack, they have amazing LBs on defense with a good secondary that will make plays. I think they'll beat Bama by about 7-10 points. Bama has a very strong rush defense with Cody, Hall and McClain but their pass defense doesn't scare me because they lack a true #1 CB. Their offense is good but I don't think they have a huge homerun threat on it. Jones is a great possession red-zone guy but he's not the long shot. They have big WRs but none are deep threats. Grant is a good RB but nothing special. LSU has QB problems but still has a very good defense and a great running game but their offense is 1 dimensional because neither of the QBs are very impressive. Auburn is the same way with them having a strong running game but an underwhelming pass offense. They also have a very good OL and a strong secondary.

Hey...good call, Mr. Knowitall...that Florida defense did looked "great" in holding that powerhouse from Ole Miss to just 31 points:)

Some things up? Try the whole thing! Number 2 now. They absolutley beat the **** out of UGA up and down the field in the 1st half.

Just watched that game (see my write up in the game reports area) and I have to say I wasn't impressed with Florida, with the exception of Harvin and Spikes. They needed those 2 to even stay with Ole Miss, and that says something. Still, Arkansas should be a walkover for them.

You weren't even impressed with Tebow? Now, that's taking a stand, man....

COOL!

Why though?

Not impressed one bit. I think he'll be as successful as Alex Smith in the NFL. Mind you, I didn't like Sanford in coverage either for Ole Miss and he got SEC DPOW.

Haha what? That game truly ticked us off and no one has even challenged us since then.(UGA was tough in the first half but got completely destroyed in the 2nd)
