As a journalist I'm supposed to be impartial but if anyone has read the Broncos' Paddock, it's clear where my allegiances lie. The Broncos are going to the playoffs, but it was clear who the better team was in the week four matchup. The men in red kicked the Broncos' tail basically from the first snap of the game, and I sincerely congratulate them. Fact is, the AFC West is better when three of the four teams are contenders (obvious who's left out), and while it may take awhile for the Chiefs to reach that level, they displayed grit and tenacity, toughness and potential, and a collection of young players who are just scratching the surface of their skills.

Congratulation K.C., and here's hoping your winning ways continue so the West again becomes a feared division and its' teams are battle-tested come playoff time. Keep it up!

The thing I loved the most about this game was the play of rookies Brandon Carr and Brandon Flowers. Marshall and Royal didn't do that good this game, and from what I've seen this year, I think they are one of the top reciever pairs in the AFC. I know they'll each proboly have some growing pains this year, but if they play like that week in and week out then they will have the potential to be in any game in a few years. I think it was a 2nd rounder for Flowers and a 6th for Carr. Peterson had a hell of a draft.

I concur with most everything you say...however...Donkeys...whoops...Broncos in the playoffs, eh? When your defense can't stop anyone...and the Chiefs proved that rather convincingly, I really don't see the playoffs for you in my crystal ball. If you think the Chiefs running game was something, wait until the Fins come to town. Then there's your little trip to Atlanta too. Add in a side trip to the Jets, and I see at least one, and likely at least two losses coming out of those games...just a hunch here, but I believe a very good one. And, to top that off...my crystal ball shows the Broncos finishing off the season with 3 losses in a row. If you do make the playoffs, you ain't goin' far.

Yeah, they had a great draft, and eventually it's going to show up consistently. Those corners never backed down, and got in Marshall&Royal's heads.

Don't think we'll go far either, but think we'll kick in the door and at least enter the house.
