Jason Leo 21 5' 10.0" 180 5.10 P 2009
Leo handles all the punts and kicks for Lehigh. As a punter, he kicks rugby style. He gets decent distance on the punts, but his hang time is unimpressive as he line-drives the punts for distance. His first punt clocked a 4.18. His kickoffs were inconsistent as well. He kicked off twice, once to the 4 yard line and once to the 18 yard line. The first was a line drive and the second was a rainbow (although both had a hang time of approximately 3.55 seconds). He only attempted one FG in the game, a 46-yarder that was dead-center, but a couple yards short. I don't see anything that indicates a football career beyond college. (Negative)
Brian Jackson 91 6' 1.0" 245 4.90 DT 2009
Did not play - Achilles injury (No grade)
Tim Diamond 25 5' 11.5" 215 4.85 LB 2009
Diamond is the defensive leader for the Mountain Hawks. In his first two games, he racked up 18 tackles. He added another 9 in this contest (3 solo, 6 assisted), but he really wasn't much of a factor. Diamond is a good athlete as evidenced by his off-balance leap over a blocker in order to make a solo tackle early in the game. He diagnoses plays well. He is a sure tackler too. He doesn't shed blocks well and is not particularly good at fighting through the trash to make plays. He wasn't dominant in this game and his speed isn't suited for the next level. (Neutral)
Others to watch:
Lehigh has a couple wideouts that were impressive. Mike Fitzgerald (Sr - 5110-180#) has excellent hands, is fearless across the middle and will take the big hit and hold onto the ball, and is shifty-quick once the ball is in his hands. He got open in the endzone for Lehigh's only TD. He was impressive in this game and has the appearance of a PFA. Sekou Yansane (Sr - 6030-195#) definitely looks the part. He's long and muscular with good speed. He was not a factor in this game, but he was an integral part of the first two Lehigh games. Worth watching.

Ryan Coyle 46 6' 3.0" 210 4.85 P 2009
Coyle didn't even see the field until the 4th quarter, but the inactivity didn't seem to hurt him. He hit three beautiful punts in the quarter (50, 51, 45) with hang times ranging from 4.42 to 4.84 seconds. His average coming into this game (one game's worth) were unimpressive, so I wasn't sure what I'd see from him. Not only was he impressive on the field, he was named a semifinalist for the Draddy, so you know what you're getting off the field too. (Very positive)
Pete Buchignani 97 6' 3.0" 255 4.80 DE 2009
Buchignani looks good in pads, but was handled for a majority of the game. He had one QBH in the first half, but the QB had rolled his direction and almost into his arms. On one other occasion, he got a good angle from the edge and drew a holding penalty. The rest of the game he was ineffective and the offensive tackles handled him without assistance. Not a pro prospect. (Negative)
Others to watch:
RB Jordan Culbreath (Jr - 5110-195#)) had an impressive game. He's compact and powerful, but shows very good quickness and cutback ability. He's a patient runner and has good vision to find the creases. He doesn't have breakaway speed, and his feet stop moving on contact in traffic. Maybe a guy to watch for next year. Senior QB Brian Anderson is intriguing. He's a bit small (6020?-210#), but is very athletic. He scrambles well and is able to throw on the run. He makes good decisions and throws a very catchable ball. He runs the option at times and is tough enough to take the hits. He showed good speed running down a defender on a blocked field goal, preventing a sure TD. Doesn't have the big arm you'd like though.
