Firstly, my apologies for the delay in getting this game report up. I moved again this weekend so I've just had time to sit down and watch it. As it was, despite what the score might suggest, the Razorbacks actually looked like a solid enough team until Florida put 21 points on them in the 4th quarter. Arkansas drove well in the first half but couldn't quite get into position to score any points until early in the 3rd quarter, but which time they were already 17-0 behind. Nevertheless, Coach Petrino will undoubtedly be pleased with the progress he will have seen in his young team.

Game Notes
Phil Trautwein 75 6' 6.0" 295 5.10 OT 2009
Seemed to miss the presence of Jim Tartt alongside him today as he really didn't perform like I believe he can. Gave away needless penalties for holding and allowed a simple sack by failing to read the spin move. He does seem to have the basics right -- his set up in pass protection looked solid -- but something looked slightly awry out there today. Grade: Slightly negative.
Jim Tartt 63 6' 3.0" 312 5.30 OG 2009
DNP -- Picked up an injury last week.
Percy Harvin 8 5' 11.0" 185 4.35 WR 2010
Harvin impressed me again out there today with his strong running, ability to break tackles and his ability to catch a ball which isn't put right on the money for him. He has good enough awareness to make sure he always falls forwards to gain that extra yard. For me, this guy is the star on this offense. Whether he's drafted as a receiver or running back he's sure to see touches in both ways. Grade: Positive.
Brandon Spikes 51 6' 3.0" 240 4.65 LB 2010
Just another day at the office for Spikes. He's got very good ball vision and doesn't bite on play fakes or false looks from the offense. Great reader of the game. Good hustle. Flies to the ball, always in and around the action. Grade: Positive
Tim Tebow 15 6' 3.0" 234 4.60 QB 2010
I'm going to get a reputation soon as being a Tebow-hater! I love what this kid brings in terms of mental and physical strength but he's no NFL QB -- he makes too many obvious mistakes. On 1st and 25 he decided to pull the ball down and run with it, gaining a couple of yards. Trouble was, he spent so long making that decision that he got an O-lineman called for holding. Underthrew Murphy when he was wide open on 3rd and 10. Doesn't look to put his passes beyond the first down markers on 3rd down. Too slow to release the football. Grade: Slightly negative.
Cornelius Ingram 7 6' 4.0" 245 4.65 TE 2009
DNP -- still recovering from injury.
Kestahn Moore 33 5' 10.0" 205 4.50 HB 2009
Started, but didn't see much of the football. In fact, I'm not sure I noticed him at all. Grade: Incomplete.
Jason Watkins 77 6' 6.0" 300 5.00 OT 2009
Another member of the needless penalty club on this day. Was called for holding and then a false start on consecutive plays, sending the Gators further and further back up the field. Solid, if unspectacular. Grade: Slightly negative.
Aaron Hernandez 81 6' 4.0" 255 4.60 TE 2011
I think this kid has a great chance to make it at the next level. He's got good instincts and definitely shows he has something upstairs. On one key 3rd down he ran a curl route, made sure he was past the 1st down markers and curled, making it easy for Tebow to hit him and using his body to shield the DB away from the ball. Always willing to do his job in all phases of the game. Grade: Slightly positive.
Emmanuel Moody 21 5' 11.0" 205 4.45 HB 2011
DNP -- another victim of the Ole Miss match last week.
Louis Murphy 9 6' 1.0" 195 4.38 WR 2009
After not being impressed especially by Murphy last week, I was pleased to see him up his game today. Made a nice catch when surrounded by converging DBs, though couldn't quite make it to the 1st down markers despite making sure he fell forwards. Let a difficult chance slip through his fingers, but can't really blame him for that. Grade: Slightly positive.
Carl Moore 16 6' 4.0" 225 4.48 WR 2010
Made no impression on me at all. Grade: Incomplete.
Jermaine Cunningham 49 6' 3.0" 245 4.65 DE 2010
I'd heard good things about Cunningham before I took on the SEC and in the 2 games I've watched he's been a total non-factor. With the exception of the odd hurry, he's been neutralized. Grade: Slightly negative.
Torrey Davis 0' 0.0" 0 0.00 DT 2011
DNP.

Game Notes
Jonathan Luigs 63 6' 4.0" 310 5.20 C 2009
Luigs has no issues with his snapping ability at all, whether the QB is under center or in the shotgun. Seemed to be a little lackluster out there, but I'm not sure what it was. Grade: Neutral.
Antwain Robinson 97 6' 3.0" 255 4.75 DE 2009
DNP.
Ernest Mitchell 90 6' 2.0" 292 5.00 DT 2009
DNP -- knee injury.
Freddie Fairchild 44 6' 2.0" 220 4.50 LB 2010
DNP.
Ben Cleveland 86 6' 4.0" 250 4.75 TE 2010
DNP.
Reggie Fish 1 5' 7.0" 160 4.35 WR 2009
DNP.
Jamar Love 29 6' 0.4" 190 4.45 CB 2009
Jamar Love has a name that makes you want to, erm..., really like him, but I just can't bring myself to do that. Was called for a DPI when the ball was thrown behind the receiver anyway. He's a good tackler, but then he needs to be as he can't cover. If I were an offensive coordinator, I'd throw his way 80% of the time and take the short-medium gains every time. Grade: Slightly negative.
Mitch Petrus 66 6' 3.5" 295 5.05 OG 2009
DNP
Jose Valdez 78 6' 5.0" 305 5.10 OT 2009
Physically, Valdez is sound but he does have issues in pass protection. He doesn't bend enough at the knees and as a result was beaten fairly easily by his man which led to a QB pressure and interception. Grade: Negative.
Ryan Mallett 15 6' 6.0" 250 5.00 QB 2011
Still can't play.
Other Notes:
Florida #25 Brandon James had a TD in the first quarter on an option run and had a KR TD called back for an illegal block in the back. Showed good speed and recovered a fumble on special teams as well. Think Percy Harvin Jr.
CB Jenorice (?) Jenkins is a true freshman I believe who looks to have a decent future. Covered well today.
Arkansas HB Michael Smith again produced good numbers and a decent performance for a guy who's only 5'7 and 175. Finished with 133 yards on 20 carries. For a little guy he's got excellent power and a nice stiff arm too. I'd invite this guy into camp.
#45 TE D.J. Williams looked like he has a good set of hands on him. Made a nice catch under pressure and ran a nice crossing route against the zone coverage to pick up a 1st down and then some. Was called for a false start.
#3 Joe Adams, another true freshman, had 68 yards on 5 receptions. He's quick, makes guys miss and is maybe the new playmaker on the Razorbacks defense. Had a nice 1 handed grab to pick up a first down.
