This write up will be very short because of a few factors. First, it's tough to project the AFA guys since the Dept. of Defense ruling that these guys have to serve their country first. Think Caleb Campbell, Army. Second, AFA runs the triple option and as such I wasn't able to evaluate the corners for New Mexico. AFA completed one pass on the evening.

DeAndre Wright 2 5' 10.5" 193 4.50 CB 2009
Had a nice tackle on a misdirection in space. His only tackle on the evening. No balls thrown his way on the night. Grade: Incomplete
Glover Quin 19 6' 0.0" 203 4.49 CB 2009
Had 5 tackles on the evening and a fumble on a KR. No balls thrown his way on the night. Grade: Incomplete
Rodney Ferguson 21 5' 11.4" 229 4.54 HB 2009
19/107 1 TD on the evening. Very patient runner and takes snaps in the "Wild Lobo." Smooth strider who seems to lack top end speed. Good vision. Got stoned on a 4th down when there was no hole and he didn't try to bounce it outside. Patiently waits for holes to open but lacks the ability to really hit it when it opens up. Doesn't run to his size and I'd like to see a bit more power running out of him. No ball security issues. Grade: Slightly Positive

No players are currently in the system for the AFA but I did want to get a peek at the TE Travis Dekker. He had the only catch on the evening for AFA and it was a TD. The jump pass /fake QB draw that Tim Tebow uses was the play. He's a nice blocker who I didn't see enough of to get a read on his hands. He's 6-3 245lbs. I think he's planning on going to medical school so it looks as if Dekker has a bright future.
