In the second half the Wildcats took the lead with a FG and TD on their first 2 drives and thereafter the two teams traded TDs, with the Bulldogs scoring inside the final 2 minutes to seal the victory.
A lot of credit has to go to Kentucky's special teams who had an outstanding day which included a 97 yard kick return, a blocked punt inside the Georgia 10, some very good kick offs and punts, and great coverage by all units.

Brannan Southerland 36 6' 0.0" 240 4.60 FB 2009
Has lost his place as a starter and although he came in and made a few very good blocks I expect the lack of performance from him this year to cost him when April comes round. Grade: Inconclusive.
Jeff Owens 95 6' 3.0" 292 4.90 DT 2009
DNP - out for season with a knee injury.
Matt Stafford 7 6' 3.0" 227 4.70 QB 2010
More ups than downs for Stafford today and that will only do his (falling) stock some good. Threw for 3 TDs and led his team on their final scoring drive to win the game for the Bulldogs. Made a couple of nice throws when having to scramble because of pressure. Makes some very good reads and gets the ball in the right place more often than not. Made a nice block for AJ Green on a WR reverse. I've said this before and I'm sure I'll have to say it again -- he is prone to the occasionally brain lapse. On 4th and 6 the Bulldogs went for it and Stafford rolled right and threw on the run...it went incomplete. The reason I mention this, is that he had a LOAD of time to stop, set up and throw for the first down. Grade: Positive.
Mohamed Massaquoi 1 6' 2.0" 200 4.50 WR 2009
With A.J. Green being covered by Trevard Lindley, Massaquoi saw a lot of the ball and was fairly impressive until the 4th quarter. He had 191 yards on 8 receptions, showed a good ability to make catches in traffic and seemed to have a reliable pair of hands. Ah yes, the 4th quarter...he fumbled twice with his team down by 3 on both occasions and the Wildcats recovered both -- he was lucky it didn't end up costing the Bulldogs. Doesn't make guys miss. Grade: Neutral.
Knowshon Moreno 24 5' 10.3" 208 4.46 HB 2011
Just another day at the office for Moreno as he had 123 yards on 22 carries. The Bulldogs have still never lost when Moreno gets 20 or more touches. Has an awesome stiff arm, great vision and loves to hit linebackers and knock them backwards. Likes to cutback and catch the defense overpursuing. Breaks tackles and runs with guys hanging onto him. Protects the ball well. Grade: Positive.
Tripp Chandler 86 6' 5.0" 250 4.75 TE 2009
Reportedly started but didn't record a reception and I don't think he was even targeted by Stafford. Grade: Inconclusive.
Demiko Goodman 85 6' 2.0" 190 4.36 WR 2009
DNP -- didn't hear anything about why either.
Jeremy Lomax 55 6' 4.0" 247 4.55 DE 2009
DNP - shoulder injury.
Geno Atkins 56 6' 1.0" 290 4.99 DT 2009
Started for the Bulldogs but was somewhat ineffective. Came out with just 2 tackles despite several runs up the middle by the Wildcats. Didn't really show me anything on this day. Grade: Slightly negative.
Kade Weston 91 6' 5.0" 315 5.15 DT 2010
Didn't start but was seen on the field a few times. Had only 1 tackle and was again ineffective. Grade: Inconclusive, but tending toward negative.
Dannell Ellerbe 33 6' 1.0" 235 4.60 LB 2009
Started the game at middle linebacker but watched the majority of this game from the sideline as he continues his recovery from injury. Came in on some pass plays as a situational pass rusher from one of the DE spots. Will need to prove he can come back from the injury or will not garner any sort of top 100 interest. Grade: Inconclusive.
Rennie Curran 35 5' 11.0" 220 4.52 LB 2011
Has anyone ever come across a more productive Will? Curran had 15 (yes, 15) tackles in this game and just does not miss. Has an innate ability to read the play and get there. He is always around the ball, even if he's not first there. Just always seems to be in the right place to make a play. Grade: Very positive.
C.J. Byrd 5 6' 2.0" 195 4.50 S 2009
Gets up well in run support and makes a fair few tackles. Looks a little light to play SS in the pros, which is where he plays right now, but may be given a shot at FS. Then again, why don't the Bulldogs play him there now? Can he actually cover? Grade: Neutral.
Asher Allen 2 5' 10.0" 190 4.40 CB 2010
Allen looks like a reasonable off man cover corner, which means he allows his man to make a lot of catches before he makes the tackle. It does mean he doesn't get burned though. Did well in run support in this game, making a couple of tackles on the running backs. Doesn't do anything spectacularly, but doesn't let you down much either. Grade: Neutral.
Ramarcus Brown 11 5' 11.0" 175 4.45 WR 2009
Brown is now the 3rd or 4th CB for the Bulldogs and had a couple of tackles in this game. Missed a tackle on Randall Cobb which the Wildcat QB made him pay for by running in for the TD. Don't expect him to have a future at this position. Grade: Slightly negative.
Prince Miller 23 5' 8.0" 190 4.45 CB 2010
Miller is a nice tackler who also handles punt returns. Made a boneheaded play on one PR as he muffed the punt within his own 5, ran back into his end zone to pick it up and then tried to run out again, making it all the way to the 2 yard line -- kneeling down would have brought the ball out to the 20. If he really is 5'8, he's still a little short. Grade: Slightly negative.
Clint Boling 60 6' 4.0" 286 5.20 OG 2011
Started again at LT but doesn't look comfortable at that position. Boling isn't particularly physical in pass protection and gave up a sack where he was out-muscled by the DE and couldn't divert him away from the play. Looked better when run blocking and seems to have a much brighter future at OG. Grade: Neutral.

Myron Pryor 98 6' 1.0" 300 5.10 DT 2009
Played despite struggling with a high ankle sprain -- and it showed. Didn't look anything like the same player I saw against South Carolina. Was able to pick up a TFL after shedding his block well in the 3rd quarter. Had quite limited impact otherwise. Grade: Neutral.
Trevard Lindley 32 6' 0.0" 175 4.40 CB 2010
Lindley is the CB I wish I could be. No matter who you send his way, they're locked down. Covered A.J. Green for the majority of this game and Green was barely mentioned as a result. Only allowed 1 reception, though Stafford threw away from him most of the time. Grade: Slightly positive.
Dicky Lyons 12 5' 11.0" 190 4.45 WR 2009
DNP - out for the season.
Garry Williams 79 6' 3.0" 300 5.20 OT 2009
Played at LT and disappointed me today. Didn't finish several of his blocks and seemed to struggle when fighting with his hands against the DEs. Might be another guy who will be better suited inside at OG if he wants to play on Sundays as he looked solid enough in the run game. Grade: Slightly negative.
Marcus McClinton 2 6' 1.0" 210 4.55 S 2009
The free safety had just 2 tackles on the day and was very quiet throughout. Grade: Inconclusive.
Braxton Kelley 56 6' 0.0" 225 4.60 LB 2009
Kelley had a fairly good game, though was outperformed by his opposite number at the Will spot. Forced one of Massaquoi's 4th quarter fumbles. Was mismatched by the Bulldog's FB when in coverage and Georgia scored a TD with that play. Grade: Neutral.
Jeremy Jarmon 99 6' 3.0" 277 0.00 DE 2009
Jarmon had a good game today, registering 4 tackles, a sack and a hurry. Also managed to get good penetration and tackle Moreno behind the line for a TFL and knocked down a pass on 3rd down. Tackled well, no mistakes. Grade: Slightly positive.
Johnny Williams 51 6' 3.0" 244 0.00 LB 2009
Played but was MIA. Grade: Incomplete.
Micah Johnson 4 6' 2.0" 250 0.00 LB 2010
Did all the things you would expect from a MLB -- he was involved in the play a lot and made 8 tackles on the day. He's a solid tackler but like I said before, he's not up there with the elite MLBs. Definately not a cover 2 MLB as he can't cover. Did miss 1 tackle on Moreno's 2nd TD run, but so did 2 or 3 others. Grade: Neutral.
Other Notes:
Georgia's Sophomore LB #50 Darryl Gamble had a nice day today. He was in on 6 tackles and had a TFL. Played both on defense and special teams and looked like a very good, hard-hitting guy. Listed at 6'2 and 247.
Kentucky P Tim Masthay had 3 punts for 149 yards (0.3 yards shy of a 50 yard average) and is averaging 46 yards per punt this season. He also handles kick off duties and had a couple sail into the end zone. He's a senior, so not much more time to impress but I'm very tempted to add him into the database.
