The draft order is based upon the inverse of the league standings at nfl.com. Please feel free to give whatever feedback you desire!

Well...it must be the best mock ever since nobody has any comments at all!

I really like the Kam Chancelor pick for the Bears in the second round, but I don't see them going that direction with their first and third. Jerry Angelo has show that he is not going to go for need in the draft. I know that they desperately need a receiver, but they won't take one in the first round. In their third round you have them taking Colt McCoy, which would be nice, but McCoy already said that he is coming back to Texas for his senior year. And I can't see him actually coming out.

Thanks for the feedback Johanns. On them not drafting a receiver -- I think we saw last year that the Bears did in fact draft for need (OT in the 1st, RB in the 2nd, WR in the 3rd) and that they are willing to spend draft picks to upgrade the offense.
Now lets be honest and look at the Bears this season. The main reason in my opinion why they will miss the playoffs is because of the lack of a playmaking receiver. The D is good enough, the QB is good enough, the RB is good enough, heck even the OL has been much improved this year. A playmaker at WR and a really solid target for Kyle Orton would put this team back in postseason contention. If Jerry Angelo sees this, they will take a receiver.
Also, on Colt McCoy -- on Saturday I saw an article saying he was applying to the NFL for his likely draft position and would consider what to do if he has a day one grade. He did say that his default position is to return to Texas, but he certainly hasn't given up on coming out by any means.

Yeah you bring up a good point about them taking for need last year, but they did draft a offensive lineman in the first round. I still can't see them taking a WR in the first round. Maybe second, but with Angelo's track record I can't see him doing it. I'd like to see them address the situation in free agency first.
As for McCoy. I article says that he'll test the waters, but retain his eligibility to play one more year. What he is probably going to do is listen to where he is going to go. And I've heard both Todd McShay and Mel Kiper both say that they beleive that he is going to stay and could use another year before moving on. Now does that mean that he is for sure going to stay, no, but I think he is a Longhorn next year. Plus with Oklahoma jumping Texas in the BCS standings and basically eliminating Texas from the National Championship game, that might be fuel for him to stay next year to try and get that National Title.

I like the Brandon Spikes pick but the others don't excite me so much. I realize we need a corner but we have Hobbs who is a pretty good corner and we spent 2 picks in last years draft on Wilhite and Wheatley who have both shown some potential in there game though they are still getting adjusted to the NFL. I don't think the Patriots would pass on Laurinaitis in the second even if they picked Spikes in the first with the lack of depth they have at LB and age of there starters. I also think it would be hard to pass on Herman Johnson with the way there line has been playing. They are 4th in the league in sacks allowed granted some of those are Cassel not having enough pocket presence. Though they need some fresh blood at RB who can stay healthy and is not afraid of contact LeSean McCoy doesn't really do it for me i think they will address that need later in the draft with someone like Ian Johnson or Rashard Jennings. I know they probably wont be feature backs but you do have BJGE whose looked like a decent back, Kevin Faulk who will probably be around for another year or two, and a sometimes healthy Sammy Morris. I just don't see them using a high pick on a RB when they have other needs. I could see them picking up a Safety (Chung,Harris,Hamlin,Ellison) or a OT like Black, Loadholt, or Unger. Finally though they need OLine help i just remember seeing Ulatoski get burned a few times this year but i don't know that much about him other than watching a couple Texas games and seeing Colt McCoy take some shots from his side of the line.

The link below was a staple of my daily surfing when I fell in love with the draft years ago. It didn't take long to find much better sites like cdsdraft.
I am looking forward to a new mock here, whenever it may be. But I have to complain about another site. This guy is usually way to high on QBs, but his most recent mock has Tebow going 17!!!!!!!!!
