I don't know if anybody else saw this, but it looks like Cody might be putting off the NFL for another year.

I know he was projected as a top 15 pick and some on here have him going to the Lions at number 1.

Personally I still think that he will still come out. But we'll see.

Johanns,

Thanks man.

He's a JUCO...obviously isn't going to be pushing Myron Rolle out of his Rhodes Scholarship. I definitely think he comes out too. What would be the point of going back if you're a Top 10 pick this year?

What are the odds he's going to get a choice?

It took him four years to get academically eligible in high school? He couldn't even get eligible at the JUCO level until his sophomore year. He has not been academically eligible to play football in consecutive seasons, yet. This guy could end up staying, being ruled ineligible, and landing in the supplemental draft.

I respect the guy for wanting to graduate, but that might be aiming a bit high. If he goes to class and gets the grades, great for him. That's something he should really feel proud of and deservedly so.

And I doubt he'll be a top 15 pick (just can't see someone paying that highly for a two-down player with weight issues), but with the question marks surrounding this guy he might be better served delcaring and using the class time to work out and get his weight down to around 350 lbs.

Maybe he promised his mother he'd get a degree before going to the NFL. (Hey, it happens.) Honestly, if I was his advisor, I'd encourage him to at least petition the NFL to see where the scouts have him. I personally think he's a mid first rounder, although I'm worried that he had some injury issues in his first year in the SEC.

Im with you, i dont see this guy going in the 1st round. Maybe late second, or a steal in the 3rd. but i wouldnt waste my pick on this guy

Hey if he is serious about graduating, all the credit in the world. Go for it, but I would bet money that he comes out.

Yeah I think that Cody goes somewhere between 10-20 if he comes out. With those grade issues, I'd advise him to come out.
