I finally got a chance to scouted the University of Albany this past weekend. Albany, champions of the Northeast Conference, played Jacksonville University of the Pioneer Football League in the third annual Gridiron Classic which pits the respective FCS conference champs against one another. Jacksonville has no one of note except a decent college receiver named Geavon Tribble, but Albany has Nguti, ROG Nik Schultz, a big press CB named L.B. McCloskey and a tough college WR named Daniel Bocanegra. The best prospect in the conference, far and away though, is Nguti.

Check out my writeup on him. He's a stud. Could be among the top 10-12 tackles drafted.
