did anyone check the preleminary list http://www.profootballhof.com/enshrinement...p?story_id=2913 . the nfl is almost as stuck up as baseball cris carter and DT still not in is a crime
You are correct.
Carter is 4th all time in rec tds and 7th all time in red yards. (not to mention hated by all Bear fans! That guy used to drive me nuts on sundays.)
DT deserves in too, regaurdless of how short his career was. Gale Sayers only played 7 years and is a hall of famer. So length of career can't be too relavent.

yeah id put sharpe in there. i just think there are some that are no brainers. tougher ones are guys like boomer esiason
The fact that it took so long for Monk to get in means that Carter has to wait and when will guys like Andre Reed get in or Ray Gay. The Jerry Kramer thing is just a JOKE!

Brocatto, Jimbo Covert, Charles Haley, Joe Klecko, Bob Kuechenberg, Ed Sabol the Founder of NFL Films, Clark Shaughnessy "The Inventor of the T-Formation!, Bruce Smith, Derrick Thomas, Rod Woodson, George Young who built 3 Dynasties! The all should be in NOW! And I already said my piece about Kramer.

Faulk and Martin in, Dillon out. IMHO
i think thats how it will go but i looked at dillons numbers and they are pretty good. how about jerome bettis and darren woodson and tiki barber.

Bettis and Barber are in although they might not be 1st ballot guys. Both have rings. Woodson probably gets in eventually as well.
Martin and Faulk are in on the 1st 3 tries, I fear Dillon will take longer.
