They have the second best record in the league, so in this mock they will have pick 31. Pick 17 in the 2nd round will come from the Saints for Shockey

1-31: Victor Harris, CB, VT- Madison won't be around forevor, and Webster is proboly more suited as a nickleback. Harris solidifies the secondary with Ross, Johnson and Phillips for years to come.

2-17: Sergio Kindle, SLB, Texas- Pierce has the middle locked up, and Kehl has played well in the time he has seen the field, Kindle will add another playmaker to this defense. The front 4 should help free up Kindle and allow him to make plays from sideline to sidelin

2-31: Fenuki Tupou, OL, Oregon- The OL has been solid as a rock, but they can't be healthy forever right? Giants get a versatile OL who can play either G or T spot if need be if a injury was to happen to one of the starters.

3-31: Javon Ringer, HB, Michigan State- Jacobs and Ward are both FAs, and the front office will proboly only look to resign the bigger and more consistent back in Jacobs, Ward will likely become a free agent. The Giants take Ringer to replace Ward as Wind in "Earth, Wind and Fire". The only question will be: Is Javon Ringer still available this late?

4-31: Travis Beckum, TE, Wisconsin- Beckum was considered a fringe 1st rounder before injuring his knee before the season. Boss is a good blocker, but doesn't provide much of a threat in the passing game. Beckum should be used like a Dallas Clark or Chris Cooley type player. Beckum is known for his ability to catch the ball gain some YAC. Sure the leg is a issue, but in the long run this could be a steal.

With only a few needs, the Giants are able to fix the needs with a couple picks in the top 50, then add depth to maintain their dominance at the top of the NFC.

I don't actually know what the position ramkings are. But if Javon Ringer makes it to the end of the third round there should be some firings! I think that guy is gonna be a very good back.

Interesting mock! I just read it now, after posting the Eagles mock. I have Tupou going a full round earlier (of course Andy Reid is known to reach for a player he really wants).

For the Giants, I wouldn't be surprised to see them go for a guy like Ramses Barden at the end of the first. Plax is as good as gone now. They'll need a physical guy who can go up and get the ball in the endzone and that's Barden's forte.

Ringer should definitely be around at the end of the 3rd. He's a pretty vanilla back. He's solid (kinda like Bradshaw or Ward), but doesn't really stand out in any particular area.

I like Tupou a lot, he could easily be gone, but for now he's not rated all that highly.

Right now the Giants have soo much depth at WR: Smith, Toomer, Manningham, Hixon and Moss. Granted there all smaller recievers, but all are great after the catch. A big WR would be nice, but I dont think they absolutely need one that early. Jaison Williams from Oregon, Greg Carr from FSU, MOhammed Massaqoi from UGA and Vidal Hazelton or Patrick Turner from USC all can do about the same thing that Barden could but with much later picks.

I think Ringer is very similar back to Ward, that's why he'd replace him nicely IMO. As it stands now, I think the following backs could definatley go ahead of Ringer: Wells, Moreno, Greene, Spiller, Davis, Foster, Dixon, Brown, Jennings, Scott and Murray. Its gonna be all about the type of back the team wants, so it could go anyway.

I cant wait til the draft, man is it going to be interesting. The teams picking near the top should be able to reload nicely with thte surplus of talent that should be available.

With the recently released comp picks and the saints pick. The giants have 5 picks in the first three rounds.

Not having a lot of glaring needs I wonder if they trade up for higher picks, maybe a mid to late first. Just a thought.
